good but not great. thesweetpotato fries were the best thing we had. we did crab cake sandwich (good but not great) withsweetpotato fries (delicious), barbecue shrimp (yummy but nothing to write home about) and cole slaw (good). great atmosphere and very friendly service.

foodies beware. the reviews for this place we're raving. i was sadly disappointed. the crab cake sandwich was loosely formed and cold, not much seasoning. my lunch partner had the ruben special, bread was not grilled enough and was soggy the meat was cold. the fries, both regular andsweetpotato were excellent. not worth the 45.00. i was disappointed.

you have to eat here!. this place is definitely a must on your "things to do on tybee island" list. my wife and i have made savannah and tybee our thing to do every year and no trip to this wonderful area is complete without a stop (or two) to north beach bar and grill. my personal favorite is the blackened swai sandwich withsweetpotato fries, and then a nice slice of grilled poundcake!

standard "beach shake" with reggae on the box but...the food is good. very good. we had jerk chicken with red beans and rice, jerk chicken salad, and the old cheeseburger withsweetpotato fries. fries had a tahini and honey drizzle. pleasantly unexpected dinning experience.

good. we visited this place the other night, i free range jerk chicken and my wife ordered the caesar salad. she said her salad was very good and fresh. my chicken had one of the best jerked sauces i have had. i was a little disappointed that the chicken was grilled about 20 mins past perfect. the dark meat was good the white meat was very soft and spongy cooked past the perfect spot for breast meat. it did not have the pull back that it needed. it is a shame i just can’t go back until our next visited to tybee which may be this time next year. i had the cole slaw andsweetpotato fries both were very good. portions are ample and the price not that bad. i give an 8.5 of 10; i wished they had paid more attention to the chicken.

great sauteed shrimp. this was our first visit to the north beach bar and grill. i'd generally assumed it was a typical beach side restaurant, but after reading reviews tried it out. the sauteed shrimp is wonderful albeit one of the messiest dishes i've ever eaten. the shrimp are in a great blend of butter, lime juice, garlic and prudhome's seafood magic. thesweetpotato fries are served with a honey balsamic reduction which i thought would be odd, but tasted great.

the best beer on tybee!. i had the best lunch here after such a rough day. i ordered the fried cod sandwich andsweetpotato fries. delish!!! wonderful and well-seasoned. the other order was jerk chicken sandwich and regular fries. the fries were great, very rustic. the jerk sandwich was awful and tasteless. being from the caribbean islands, i know what jerk should taste like and i also know when it's not right. the minute i was told it was not spicy, i knew it was an epic fail. don't order jerk chicken at a restaurant on the beach unless it's in jamaica. however, they have the best and the coldest beer in tybee. the service was wonderful, the server very attentive and funny without being corny and disrespectful. this location set the mood for a day at the beach!! it was a wonderful place to eat! very laid back.

i look forward to this all year long....sweetpotato fries are sooo good...jerk chicken sandwich is delicious. you're eating right on the beach, cold beer in hand, barefoot and covered in sand...what more could you really want?

there has to be a reason on an island w a lot of choices we keep returning to n beach grill. today we had the special of scallops n shrimp and fish plate and it was awesome. erin was our waitress and we had wonderfuul treatment and excellent meal suggestions. the beauty of having erin as our waitress is she has helped us w a place to stay our next vaca! we love this place especially after a day of sup and sun! we will defiantly make the journey back!

mike is a great waiter n won't steer u wrong with what is good to eat. can't go wrong with n beach grill!
