we went to this joint when we were on vacation. we ordered from their specials. i ordered shrimp hoagie and my wife ordered blackened swai hoagie.

both were prepared very well. shrimp hoagie was perfectly done and was served with two slices of bacon. the blackened swai was also great. the portions were also huge. i would definitely recommend thisplaceafter a quick dip in the atlantic.

thisplacewas only ok. if you're on north shore beach and looking for a bite, but don't feel like changing out of your swimsuit, it's perfect. service is high school kids that are slow and confused. the food is only okay for how much it costs, but you'll be hard pressed to find anywhere on this island that isn't overpriced. my husband and i split the 13oz steak and crab legs. the legs were overlooked, but tasted great. the steak was good, but nothing special.
overall, not worth the cost, but the whole island is that way. atmosphere is great. drinks are good.

foodies beware. the reviews for thisplacewe're raving. i was sadly disappointed. the crab cake sandwich was loosely formed and cold, not much seasoning. my lunch partner had the ruben special, bread was not grilled enough and was soggy the meat was cold. the fries, both regular and sweet potato were excellent. not worth the 45.00. i was disappointed.

you have to eat here!. thisplaceis definitely a must on your "things to do on tybee island" list. my wife and i have made savannah and tybee our thing to do every year and no trip to this wonderful area is complete without a stop (or two) to north beach bar and grill. my personal favorite is the blackened swai sandwich with sweet potato fries, and then a nice slice of grilled poundcake!

bestplacewe ate on the island!. jerk chicken was amazing! the steak my son had was the best he ever ate. everyone was very pleased with their meals service was good too.

i was a little suspect of the laid back atmosphere, thinking thisplacemay be just a food stand- but everything was outstanding. arrived quickly and tasted excellent.

thisplaceis great! incredibly slow service but you're on island time. kic back, enjoy a red stripe, some music and relax! very nice vibe and the food is both eclectic and delicious.

i loved the food amazing and unique taste and it was well worth the wait. thisplaceis not theplaceto eat if you are in a hurry. be prepared to wait an hour if you're going to eat later in the night. i'm not sure about lunch time though.

good. we visited thisplacethe other night, i free range jerk chicken and my wife ordered the caesar salad. she said her salad was very good and fresh. my chicken had one of the best jerked sauces i have had. i was a little disappointed that the chicken was grilled about 20 mins past perfect. the dark meat was good the white meat was very soft and spongy cooked past the perfect spot for breast meat. it did not have the pull back that it needed. it is a shame i just can’t go back until our next visited to tybee which may be this time next year. i had the cole slaw and sweet potato fries both were very good. portions are ample and the price not that bad. i give an 8.5 of 10; i wished they had paid more attention to the chicken.

this might be the bestplaceto eat on the island. atmosphere is what you'd expect for a beach bar. the food is not. my wife had the grouper special and i had a vietnamese pho, also a special. both were delicious and satisfying. our server was attentive and quick. don't let the casual appearance fool you. the food is a huge leap above the usual beach fare.

the best beer on tybee!. i had the best lunch here after such a rough day. i ordered the fried cod sandwich and sweet potato fries. delish!!! wonderful and well-seasoned. the other order was jerk chicken sandwich and regular fries. the fries were great, very rustic. the jerk sandwich was awful and tasteless. being from the caribbean islands, i know what jerk should taste like and i also know when it's not right. the minute i was told it was not spicy, i knew it was an epic fail. don't order jerk chicken at a restaurant on the beach unless it's in jamaica. however, they have the best and the coldest beer in tybee. the service was wonderful, the server very attentive and funny without being corny and disrespectful. this location set the mood for a day at the beach!! it was a wonderfulplaceto eat! very laid back.

there has to be a reason on an island w a lot of choices we keep returning to n beach grill. today we had the special of scallops n shrimp and fish plate and it was awesome. erin was our waitress and we had wonderfuul treatment and excellent meal suggestions. the beauty of having erin as our waitress is she has helped us w aplaceto stay our next vaca! we love thisplaceespecially after a day of sup and sun! we will defiantly make the journey back!

the sweet potato fries are awesome, not to mention the asparagus n crab, fish tacos, plantains.

thisplaceis a must visit every time we come to tybee. the crab cakes are to die for an have become our benchmark for all other crab cakes where ever we go throughout the country.
