nonna's pasta & pizzeria

theplaceis cool. food is great. and people were so accommodating. a little bit pricey but it's worth spending for. 😋👅 you'll love their pizza.

we had the beef appetizer, the truffle pasta, the mushroom tagliatelle, the vesuvio, the pizza bianco, and the tutti formaggi. everything was good, though the beef appetizer really stood out, as it was very flavorful. their pasta is nice and fresh, and it's generally cooked very well. their pizza dough has got a nice chew. definitely one of the better restaurants in the area and is aplacei would go to again and again.

very yummyplacefor guilty and starchy pleasures. the stand out for me was the salted egg pasta and the mushroom chicharron. the pasta is something that i know i will definitely be craving for. thisplacealso has a chili honey sauce that works very well with their dishes. highly recommend this place

super love this place! i don't really enjoy eating pizza but nonna's pizza is an exemption. their food is super delicious! i enjoyed their pumpkin soup, their ravioli, and this! the pizza looks so simple but oh my its so good! i'll definitely come back. new favoriteplacefor pizza and pasta. and the ambiance is a plus!

this is the firstplacei've ever tried mushroom chicharon, and they've set the bar pretty high for me. theirs was so good, i easily get disappointed with other brands of mushroom chicharon now 😂

we were curious with the very high rating of thisplaceand wow, this did not disappoint!

staff was very attentive and courteous. the food was really delicious and the serving size was big. there were 7 of us and we ordered 3 appetizers, 2 pizzas, and 7 pastas (1 per person). we were overwhelmed when our orders came in because the pasta can actually be shared by 2 people as we had other food for sharing. 😂

my favorites here are: mozzarella sticks, mushroom chicharon, all meat pizza, nonna's special pizza, classic lasagna, and truffle mushroom ravioli (ahhhh the cream sauce was soooooo good).

if you're in nuvali, definitely eat here!!! they don't scrimp on the ingredients and they really know how to serve good italian food.

i've been hearing great things about this pizzeria in the south that i couldn't help myself from wanting to visit it asap. however, theplaceisn't exactly near. in fact, it isn't even in metro manila. but when i won some gift certificates from that restaurant, i finally have a good reason to drive all the way to nuvali for lunch. and i finally did a few weeks ago.

nonna's is the italianplacefor me. by far. love all their pastas, raviolis and oglios. my family comes back here time and again. and the pizzas oh so yummy. their reception and crew are very welcoming and informative. i like that. definitely giving this a 5star. will be coming back to this place. 😊👍💕

i hate using this word because i think it is an understatement but it’s the only word that describes the restaurant especially on how they prepare italian food. authentic.

payday pizza: the name speaks for itself. scallops, caviar, and foie gras over a thin dough drizzled with dark brown sweet sauce, topped with arugula. nothing biggie.

when i first heard about honey being poured on top of pizza, i thought it was not only weird but the most disrespectful thing a man could possibly do to his pizza. i spoke to soon when i said i wouldn’t try doing that, or would grossly dislike it if ever i try to, because i was left with shame when i was proved wrong. god dammit ‘twas good. like, good good. also tried their prosciutto arugula pizza which was unsurprisingly salty but easy to love.

pasta puttanesca: al dente spaghetti mixed with over-flowing tomato-based sauce, olives, capers, and anchovies. simply done yet magic. although, vesuvio pasta is a bit of disappointment as it could’ve been better if the sides of the mountainous rigatoni were not burned. however, gnocchi is a nightmare for someone like me who hates sweet & fat/cholesterol-like flavored entrées although i know it will be highly appreciated by most people.

mushroom chicharon: name-forgetting-deliciousness. that’s how it’s done mushroom burger restaurant!

had dinner here with my friends last sunday. theplacewas busy, but the staff were still able to prepare us a table inside. theplacehas really great ambiance, inside and even with the tables outside the restaurant. our attending server immediately served us with water and the menu.we ordered mozzarella sticks, aglio olio, spaghetti amatriciana, and all meat pizza. the food was great, i only have some minor issues. the mozzarella sticks were served right away, but were not hot enough for them to be elastic and have that wow cheese-pull factor. also, the crust of the pizza was inconsistent, there were parts that were crispy, but there were also parts that were soggy. but, the attentiveness of the staff made the experience better. for most of the time, we didn't have to ask them to refill our water, they are constantly going around the tables making sure everyone's served right. the pasta dishes have good amount of serving and the noodles were cooked perfectly al dente. also, they have this condiment availble on the table which is a combination of honey and chili flakes. that condiment plus the all meat pizza was heaven. if you like waffles and chicken plus maple syrup, then you'll also like this combination of sweet, spicy, and savory. overall, the experience was great and we'll surely come back with more friends.

what can i say about nonna's? good people, good customer service and good food! although i was not amazed but i was somehow satisfied with what i ordered, nonna's is still a goodplaceto eat pizza & pasta.

p.s they forgot to put cheese on one piece of our mozarella cheese sticks. 😅

well, if i can give them a review everytime i visit, i will! yes, this would be bias in a way because this is really my go to for healthier gastronomic treat! their very own pasta and variations are to die for!! and i would never want to miss nonna’s lemonade on any given visit! my kids love thisplacetoo! very cozy and staffs are really nice and accomodating! highly recommended for pasta and pizza lovers out there!! 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

it's rare for me to go to nuvali area even if i go home to laguna every weekend. so when we had a meeting scheduled in the area, i took it as an opportunity to get my teammates to have late lunch here. and they agreed, yay!

we arrived at around 1:45 so we had theplacealmost to ourselves. because of that, everything got served within 20 mins or thereabouts.

we had the following:

🍞 complimentary toast and marinara dip - a group of four would need at least a couple of servings 😂
🍄 mushroom chicharon - their bestseller. it's good but i feel it's overpriced.
🐠 fresh salmon carpaccio - except they have no supply of salmon and gave us mahi mahi instead. kinda disappointing, but the dish was good on its own regardless. the fish was really fresh and the slices perfectly thin.
🍕 margherita and tutti formaggi pizzas - i thought having two pizzas won't be enough for three guys and a girl, but these went a long way. they're what you'll expect them to be, and i didn't feel shortchanged by the toppings. the chili honey is especially good with the cheese pizza particularly with the blue cheese.

it was great to come in past lunch time because service was fast and focused.

the wash room seems a bit run down compared to the rest of the restaurant, so i don't like it much. there's definitely room for improvement.

it's great to finally get back here after my loooong day on tagaytay food crawl with the kaladkarins last year. and good to know the food is as good as i remembered.
