love the new cook!!!. noche maya has a new cook and he is awesome!!! he came to our table to explain his new menu. he even came back when we were done to see if we liked it.greatservice! his menu is ispired from his home, mexico! my fiance and i had agreatexperience. we felt like we were in mexico...the ambiance, the flavors and the warm friendly feel of the place. it was absolutely romantic. were even thinking of having our wedding there cause its so cozy, theres an awesome view of the parliment and the food (new menu) is absolutely delicious!

saludos!. noche maya is well situated. from the patio, one has agreatview of the parliament buildings across the river. the wine selection is good. we enjoyed the "soupe crécy", fajitas and salad on a recent visit. one guest had the enchiladas and said they were good. good and convivial atmosphere; live music provided by the owner himself accompanied by a lovely singer. will have to pay another visit and taste various dishes in the near future.

best christmas party ever. this is one of the best places to have a christmas party or any party of that sort. the singer wasgreatthe music was excellent and the food was amazing. we were 20 people and everyone was served at the same time (which is rare to see, and our food was all warm) they servegreatmexican food and you will not regret going to try their food!!

a piece of mexico at gatineau. the last summer me and my family went to noche maya, ́cos we were visiting ottawa and after a few days spended there, we started to miss mexican food, we heard about a few restaurants in the area, but noche maya was the most recomendated resto in the entire zone!!! at the moment of our arrival at the resto, we were recieved with the tipical music, and all of the lil details that give to the restaurant the exceptional sensation that you ́re in mexico!!!.... about the service, it was very grateful, at the moment we saw the menu!!! we saw a lot of dishes a huge gamma of them, after that we ask for the drinks, and they had the special drink ... tequila!!!!... and about the dishes o.m.g.!!! the spicy food at the moment we taste it!!!! it was a flashback directly to mexico city!!! mi father can not eat spicy so we ask for something else, and there was no ́problem about it!!!...they give him a dish without any "chile" but with a lot of mexico on it!!!... we had agreatnight.... cos after we ate we had live music!!!! we sang a while, we drank, and even we danced!!!!.... it was such an experience!!!!.... an experience fully recomendated!!!! fully!! if you you ́ll never regreted!!!....

nice view --- but that's all. i drove past this place with a friend as a shortcut a few weeks ago and thought it would be agreatpatio. so on this beautiful father's day, 2011, since it was my choice, and i actually like mexicali rosa's-type mexican, we went.
nachos were hohum. wrong cheese (they aren't the only ones that think mozarella is right...) quesildila was okay, but again, cheese was wrong. my wife had calamari (was from a bag) and soup (not great), the jalapenos were the mild kind with carrots.
they had a full patio, and they were a bit understaffed for it. if we lived next door, we might go there to drink. but, it was a 15 minute drive from westboro, and the view wasn't worth it.
we had read this site before, and gave it a chance anyway, but we agree with the writer who said that they bought everything at metro...

wings, black bean tacos..ect.... awesome foodgreatatmosphere!!! if you want fast food go to mcdonald's if you want fresh and authentic come here!!!!! i wanted to try a little of everything and i did...really a must!!!

it can be romantic, fun and or just an evening outgreatplace...and we're coming back!!!!
