great breakfast, nice location. have had breakfast there a few times and it was always good. always had the same thing - huevos divorciados - eggs on warm tortilla with black beans, pico de gallo and green salsa.

the location - on gatineau point looking south across the ottawa river at the rockliffe boat club and the falls - is very nice.

over priced. too bad nice location but... very expensive for the size and quality. will not return.

it was absoluetly horrible, no service what so ever, verry poor quality of food, over priced... i asked for a chorizo hot dog and and they served me a 99cent sausage lafleur, they think that all of the clients are stupid!

pleasant staff but low quality food. $9 for a tiny bit of guac and some stale nachos. first and only time there. shame because it's a gorgeous location.

very bad experience. we will not return. staff drinking at the bar. one of the servers was ok but the two other girls were not professional at all. appetizers were fine but all of our mains were deceiving. the portions were too small for the price. we also heard other patrons near us complain about the waiting time and the quality of the food. so sad to have a bad restaurant in such a nice location.

never again... won't go back. we heard about this mexican restaurant and decided to give a try on last wednesday since my husband and i love real mexican food.

well, the food served at this restaurant is really, really ordinary except the tortilla soup which is really good and spicy but way too expensive for the quantity served. 6.95$ or 7.95$ for about 200ml of tomato soup, a small spoon of guacamole, sour cream and some crispy tortillas.. for the price, you would expect a good portion... my husband and i each ordered a soup.

my husband also ordered an appetizer, can’t remember the name (and the web site doesn’t exist anymore) but it was served on 2 small tortillas (2.5”) for 9$ or 9.50$.

for the main meal, i ordered the enchiladas. 14.95$ for 2 chicken enchiladas (3”) served with mole (my first choice was the salsa verde but there was no more left). i would say there was about 1/4 to 1/3 cup of chicken, total, in my enchiladas... served with a cup of white rice (it looked like there was some herbal oil on it but it was tasteless) and some iceberg lettuce with no dressing... yes, for 15$... pretty much the same thing for my husband. can’t remember what he ordered but there was a tiny portion of chicken, tasteless and was also 15$

my husband also ordered a beer. we didn’t order any dessert. we were too disappointed by our meal.

to resume, the food is plain and the portions are tiny. i don’t have a huge appetite but i could eat my husband’s dinner + mine...

there was no live music even if it’s advertised as such

60$ plus tax plus tip for that? never again...

mexico without leaving home. so happy we didn't give this restaurant a pass based on the two or three mediocre reviews. the review from october 2012 hit the nail on the head. the decor, service, entertainment and the food above all were a 10 out of 10. from start to finish the dining experience was superb. the chef's suggestion of appetizers was excellent. the main course selections were varied tasty and our palates were doing a vibrant mexican dance. the enthusiasm of the waitress and chef for the food choices made this a must go to again and again.

love the new cook!!!. noche maya has a new cook and he is awesome!!! he came to our table to explain his new menu. he even came back when we were done to see if we liked it. great service! his menu is ispired from his home, mexico! my fiance and i had a great experience. we felt like we were in mexico...the ambiance, the flavors and the warm friendly feel of the place. it was absolutely romantic. were even thinking of having our wedding there cause its so cozy, theres an awesome view of the parliment and the food (new menu) is absolutely delicious!

saludos!. noche maya is well situated. from the patio, one has a great view of the parliament buildings across the river. the wine selection is good. we enjoyed the "soupe crécy", fajitas and salad on a recent visit. one guest had the enchiladas and said they were good. good and convivial atmosphere; live music provided by the owner himself accompanied by a lovely singer. will have to pay another visit and taste various dishes in the near future.

best nachos ever. if you have ever been to mexico...it's exactly the same....the owner is from mexico city and all recipees are original. i talked to him through our super and owner who payes attention to his clients and trust me the ambiance is great..he sings excently and the food is great...nachos i took with salsa on the side....best nachos ever..we had fajitas afterwards, trust me best ever...try the tres leche for desert...too die for....service was great!!! try the place it's worth it!!!

noche maya...bring your pepto-bismol!. nourriture vraiment douteuse. lorsque meme des enfants refusente de manger les nachos parce qu'ils ne sont pas mangeables...ca veut tout dire

prix: exorbitant pour la qualité de la bouffe. de plus, le pourboire est inclus sur la facture!!!!!
ca se comprend...sinon ils n'en recevraient jamais tellement c'est pathétique comme endroit...et en plus meme si le pourboire est inclus sur la facture, ils osent demander lorsque l'on paye si nous voulons laisser un pourboire supplémentaire!!!..alors si vous ne pretez pas attention, il se peut que vous laissiez 2 fois le pourboires.
vraiment, un des pires restaurants au québec.

the food is absolutely bad. not even tex-mex and far from authentic.

we had the nacho to start our meal and i couldnt believe that they were serving spaghetti sauce for the salsa!!! hello!!! mexican restaurant with no home made salsa??? they should not be allowed to be considered a mexican restaurant. the only plus side is the patio and drinks are ok. that's all and maybe the salads. if you are looking for mexican food...please avoid this place. cross the bridge (5 min drive) and check out ahora or taco de mauros for real mexican food.

best christmas party ever. this is one of the best places to have a christmas party or any party of that sort. the singer was great the music was excellent and the food was amazing. we were 20 people and everyone was served at the same time (which is rare to see, and our food was all warm) they serve great mexican food and you will not regret going to try their food!!
