first night of 2019 to visit the place with friends to catch up. place was not crowded on a monday night and selection of drinks underhappyhour are all amazing but regardless of the food menu the fish and chips it was totally unexpected.. when the food came 2 pcs of tempura strips that’s how the fish and chips looks like when you have a bite you will just taste the potato you can’t even taste the fish seems like the fish was tasteless though food presentation was ok.

lives up to its expectations, it is one of the best nobu i have been to and everytime i have come out extremely pleased with the quality of food. the only issue that i would like to highlight is the quality of service as that seems to be a little bit unorganised and we need to call on the servers which is a rarity for a fine dining restaurant. the chef menu is a good medley of dishes and he does surprise us with new additions each time. one of the best places to visit if you are looking for a great meal and thehappyhours are an added advantage for pre drinks before dinner.

its nobu what else can i say, excellent food, happyhours at the bar is nice but very overly monitored by the staff, had an argument with the waiter because he was bordering being rude; counting every drink and extra policing duringhappyhours, ruining all the fun.

nobu is a great place for drinks, the cocktails are great and the choice of sake is good. really enjoy thehappyhour and s3 night when you can also enjoy some small portion of food.

service can be rude at the bar section especially on monday night (which is the ladies night) where waiters are tracking girls to ensure that no guy have a sip on their drinks.

went there for dinner for the omasaki selection, the food was good although really overpriced (500 riyals tasting menu). on the other side, the brunch is hands down the best in town, amazing quality, nice cocktails, efficient service.

i love nobu on a quiet weekday night and especially not during ladies night because its packed. we went yesterday duringhappyhour and sat on the bar, we literally orederd the whole food menu. i loved everything especially the black cod, rock shrimp tempura, crispy chicken with honey and sushi. the cocktails were on another level!! everything we had was amazing and the view is nice, i def recommend it.

we spent a night at nobu lounge to celebrate the birthday of a friend and we have been impressed by the beauty of the place.
the terrace is facing the sea and skyline of the city, pleasant music and nice people were part of the set.
cocktails are good and prices are convenient during thehappyhour time.
it is well worth a visit if you are around.

hands down one of the best food experiences i've had in doha.

i visited nobu yesterday - a birthday dinner treat from my hubby.
they say that first impression is everything... well, if it is then nobu scored a big fat 10 in that department. beautifully located overlooking the sea, the interior of the whole building made me feel kinda cozy, in a sophisticated way :) we arrived early and a wonderful friendly hostess directed us to the bar. i had a japanese mojito (all hail thehappyhours!) and it was so yummy that it took all my willpower to stop myself from ordering another one. try it, you won't regret it! when my drink was sadly finished, we were lead to our table (the loud greeting that all guests get from the staff is a nice touch!).

i'm not a big expert on japanese food, so i needed quite a lot of help with the menu :) we had two lovely ladies assigned to our table who took their time to thoroughly explain to us the menu, answered all my newbie questions and gave us their personal recommendations. they visited our table then quite frequently to ask how was the food and, something that i personally appreciated a lot, get our detailed feedback on some dishes, as they were "new on the menu".

we decided to share all food that we ordered. we started with yellowtail sashimi with jalapeno and new style oyster sashimi. yellowtail sashimi tasted amazing, with the spicy kick from jalapenos (they're properly deseeded, so won't burn your mouth). the oysters were slightly on the salty side, but then again i am not the expert and i liked them anyway :) both disappeared from our plates in literally 30 seconds :) after that came the highlight of the evening - rock shrimp tempura. i kid you not, that was the most amazing seafood dish i've had in my entire life! i am a big fan of tempura in general, but this dish brought it to another level and i'm afraid i won't be able to enjoy the "usual" tempura like i used to. after the shrimp came a menu novelty, which was hubby's choice so unfortunately i can't remember the name... lobster-based savory dumplings with tangy salsa, delicious! we wouldn't be able to leave without a dessert... our choices were a sweet potato cake with apricot sorbet (not included in the menu; it was a daily special) and a nobu cheesecake with yuzu sorbet. both yummy and, to top it all up, first one came with a candle and "happy 30th birthday, joanna!" written on a piece of chocolate. lovely touch, extra points scored ;) i washed it all down with a drink which i ordered blindly based on the hostess's recommendation, key ingredients: sake & champagne, kiwi & cucumber. tasty & refreshing.

we ended up paying approx. qar 1100 for the experience. which is the only reason i didn't score nobu a straight 5. even though the food, ambiance and service was great, price is on the high side... but again, that's just my opinion :)

beautiful restaurant with sea views all around. been there for drinks a few times and also one time for dinner.  the food was not as good as i expected since i've been to nobu in london and i hoped for the same. the atmosphere on monday duringhappyis very nice, lots of people and brilliant terrace with a great view.

our favourite it-spot in qatar! perfect forhappyhours and a great spot to introduce your friends to qatar and to catch up with mates. also, it's a perfect place to sample nobu's signature dishes as bar grubs, making it the best of both worlds!

talk of the town! i must say the place is really posh and gives you the impression of exclusivity since its location is in the middle of (i dont know) water?
i'm finally able to visit nobu on a monday night which means its ladies night whenhappyhours are extended 'til 2am. i had been wanting to try to have some cocktails and finger-food here for so long that its not the newest restaurant to try anymore.
the cocktail i loved was the one recommended by their staff. if you like a drink that tends to be sweet go for the thaimandarinmartini.
the food that goes with theirhappyhour menu is being served in a very small quantity. i love the caramelized vanilla cake more than nobu cheesecake.
it wasn't too crowded when we got there half past 10pm but tables are mostly occupied outside. we opted to stay inside overlooking the restaurant.
the over all experience was good yet i must say, pricey... after all its nobu.

what an amazing restaurant.. from the view to the decor to the food and wine, but they have their quirks ! we decided to try nobu for the first time on ladies night, to say they were busy would be an understatement. i phoned about a week ahead of time to book but was told you could not make a booking forhappyhour, anyway, we got there and basically the whole restaurant was fully booked except for a small couch seat in the corner... ( next time, don't tell me i can't make a reservation when i very well can) ! anyway, on to the wine as i was quite angry about the whole deal... delicious red wine and our sushi meal that followed was literally a winner !! service was on and off as food arrived quickly and drinks took up to 45mins which in my opinion is too long...prices for ladies and duringhappyhour is an absolute steal, especially for the quality of food you get! however, if you own a helicopter or a yacht i would consider those means of transport in getting there and home as we waited to get out from the parking lot for over an hour... really need to up your game in the valet department, that was ridiculous !! look forward to going back and hopefully having a better experience...

been here a lot of times.
crowded nights to peaceful nights. crowded in the sense that we dont get a sit so we decide to get a table in the rooftop. cocktail table. and for peaceful, me and my friends experience a very quiet night in the white lounge. just our table. it was busy andhappyhour ends already.
service never fails us. busy or not busy. they still give their best. as for the drinks and food i cannot complain. this is a place where i cant say no.

rooftop lounge bar. welcomeshappyhour and me being me, was excited to try it! i have eaten at nobu a few times and have thoroughly enjoyed my experiences but i would expect to with those prices!

the bar is located on the rooftop and is decorated tastefully and very open. there are tables that need to be pre-booked (with a deposit) with 5 people or more. i do find this very annoying, as i do to a bar with friends and then can't sit down.
however, on this occasion, i went with a friend. we chose to sit at the bar, prime location for service! thehappyhour choice was limited, but the red wine that i choose was enjoyable and excellant value.happyhour drinks are 30/35qr for wine and roughly the same for cocktails.
afterhappyhour, we ordered a bottle of red wine that we were both drinking and again, i didn't feel robbed at the end of the evening!
happy hour nibbles are 25qr and again i think this is great value. all these dishes are served in nobu, so you get to taste at a fraction of the cost.
if you try anything, i urge you to order, the black cod. their signature dish from london, nyc to doha. having eaten in all three, i can honestly say, i adore this dish.
the bar is a welcome addition to doha and one that i have returned to many times already.
ladies night is on a monday andhappyhour is extended all evening for ladies.
