this is one of the famous places in gangtok for authentic sikkimese food. it is frequented by locals and tourists alike. the ambience is lovely, very sophisticated.
we had ordered sikkimese thali, local style mutton starter and chicken momo jhol. the mutton starter was tasty but bones and fat pieces were a let down. the chicken momo jhol was decent. coming to the thali, the curries were simple little bit similar to bengali cuisine except one fermented curry which was very different and can be described as an acquired taste.
we had also ordered a rice wine, which was same kind of acquired taste. some will like it, some won't.
but all in all, worth visiting for sure for it's unique dishes!
