niki's italian bistro

my fiance and i had been moving all day and decided to go pick up an order to go at around 10 pm to eat at home. my fiance paid extra for breaded chicken on his chicken alfredo (as we are aware and pay everytime we come here!) however, we got home and the chicken wasn't breaded. (this was the secondtimeit happened and we were too busy lasttimeto deal with it) by thetimewe got home and noticed, it was just after 11pm and they were closed. my fiance called first thing this morning and the manager mike says that he was at the restaurant until midnight and he should have called him. (like we are supposed to know) we already decided we were going to call back in the morning and weren't willing to go back out for anything at all last night. period. we were tired. have a 1.5 year old and again.. had been moving all day.

mike was absolutely unwilling to replace this chicken or refund the money we paid extra for the breaded chicken we never got.

i was pissed.. so, i called and asked to speak to the manager and he answers the phone very rudely. just an irritated "hello?!" after realizing he had just spoken to my fiance he started to yell and said that he doesn't havetimefor this and that he will just remake the chicken. i said, "ok thank you" he got more angry and more irritated as the call continued. he asked if i still had the wrong order or if i ate it all because he wanted to throw it away himself. i said, yes. he continued yelling "do you want the chicken or not?" and i said yes again and eventually i just had to hang up..

i'm terrified to go back. i'm a pretty small young woman and have never been yelled at the way this grown man yelled at me. i'm still shaking. just want people be aware of this man's bad business and serious anger issues clearly he can't control. when he was in the wrong.

brilliant. the place is just brilliant, i have been going there for quite a few years now and they never disappoint. yeah, a few deliveries that came a little late but what do you expect with a hopping restaurant like this one? if you want delivery on time, order at atimeyou know they wont be busy. the boss and his family are there all thetimeand on duty. i can not say anything more about this place. if you want a good atmosphere, good service, and good food... nikis is the way to go. the owners daughter and another waitress, i believe his name is tony are our favorite waiters.

rubber chicken. i politely asked my waitress for something else after having a hardtimecutting my chicken parmesian with a knife. the manager or owner came out of the back and told me, in front of other customers that were sitting in our section, that there was nothing wrong with his chicken. are you kidding me? i went in there hungry and left hungry. he charged me for that awful dish too. i posted my complaint on my facebook and got responses from two others that had the same experience with the tough chicken. i will ever go back and am now his worst advertising.

i thought i had walked into atimewarp. appeared that the family was working and the place was decorated like dean martin was going to walk in....there was a man playing mellow italian flavored music...food...wait it was good and well priced...more than i could eat...
