good pies!. the newest pizza place in newport has two specialty vegetarian pizzas to tempt your tastebuds. try the zeus - garlic, spinach and tomatoes topped with feta and asiago. yum.

when i learned that our neighborhood was getting a new pizza house, my first thought was, "do we really need another one?" forgive me for being a bit jaded, but with several other independents and franchises already servicing the area (pasquales, dewey's,

used to love it. maybe i'm just having that kind of week or something, but when i am ready to plop down thirty bucks on pizza i've loved, and ordered-and had delivered to my address-only to be told that they are too busy to deliver there (and by the way, the demarcation point dude cited is a block past me, but whatever), i get a little p**sed off. the chow is pretty good; the service sucks it big time. they'll not see another dime outtta me.

it seems that everyone likes newport pizza company . i don't. to be fair, i have only been there once (today), but i was totally unimpressed. my list of complaints is as follows. 1. it is overpriced. a thin, 12 inch pizza ranges from about $10-13. are you

really good pizza, and the best fried mozzarella in town! the monmouth pizza is the house specialty, and what my wife and i ordered. we really enjoyed it!

i also have to go against the trend, and say that i was disappointed in newport pizza. although i enjoyed the unique location and the friendly service, i stopped by for two slices of pepperoni pizza (to go), and found the pizza lacking. crust was overcooked, grease dripping from the pizza to the plate, and little to no cheese and sauce. i would be willing to try more of the menu on future visits (if i am in the area).

first time trying newport pizza and will return. we got the flying pig and it's a good thin crust pizza (a lil greasy) and good service.

it's a small place so, i could see there being a decent wait during peak hours.

fast, but definitely not cheap. i ordered a perfect pepperoni for delivery. for a pizza that advertised "extra pepperoni," i was disappointed. the pizza tasted fine. it was very greasy and reminded me of pizza by the slice you'd buy in college. overall it was alright. but at $15 for a pizza including delivery costs, i won't be ordering again with so much competition in the area.

mediocre. got a carry-out salad and pizza. i liked the actual physical restaurant. looked like a good place to hang out, watch a game, and drink a beer. but the pizza was lacking. the crust under the actual pie was almost nonexistent except for being floppy and soggy. crust around the edge was bland, dry, and there was just too much of it. crust = wasted potential pizza. i saw this issue in photos before ordering, so i got a side of sauce to dip. the sauce could have been good, but it was sooo diluted, almost like they mixed it with water - it barely coated the dipped crust. on the pizza i couldn't even tell the sauce was there. the cheese wasn't terrible, but it wasn't good either.
however, our pizza had a lot of toppings and the salad was fantastic.
if you are into the thin crust pizza trend that is unfortunately gripping our society, then this place may be for you, but not suited to my pizza tastes.

love the food!. i had my food delivered. please find a better way to deliver your french fries. the bag was so wet, i pulled it out and the fries fell thru the bag on the floor! ordered the zeus pizza, great but i want my toppings all the way on my pizza! everything was centered in the middle. had to get ranch dressing to dip the left over crust in! wanted a full topping pizza! the food was totally great! just some tweetking! tks! will be back!

wow. best idea for a pizza place, since sliced bread. i know that was corny, but really; you must come by and try it out. they have over a dozen specialty pizzas including a chili cheese dip pizza (cincinnatus) and the melt in your mouth zeus. they even have a half pound meatball made with spaghetti and their homemade sauce. not to mention, i was talking with one of the owners who claimed everything is made from scratch in house. if you are from new york and missing the pizza you had up there, come by this place it is as close as you are going to get to authentic new york style pizza. important; monday nights are $10 pizza night; thats right $10 pizzas all day and night. as many as you want, it is dining room only though, unless you prefer to sit outside. come by and try a slice throughout the week or a $10 pizza on monday; any large specialty or create your own 3 topping. you will not regret it, best pizza i have had in years.

favorite place ever. seriously this place is the greatest pizza i have ever eaten. sure, the seating area is super small, but that gives it such a great atmosphere. so great atmosphere? check. how about the food? although i have only gotten pizza from there the appetizers always look killer. the cincinnatus pizza? don't even get me started on it, i could rave for hours. it is the greatest pizza i have ever had. and the buffalo chicken pizza is a close second. literally if you are trying to decide where to eat dinner at in newport, skip the deweys on the levee and go to this amazing place. it's local, it's delicious, and it is just up the street from the levee. seriously, go there. right now

not finding the love. i just received my 2nd pizza delivery from npc...this was a complimentary one to make up for the soggy, greasy mess i received a couple of weeks ago. i was hopeful that the first pizza was "just a fluke" ....am sad to report that this one was just as bad or worse. trying to lift a slice out was disastrous in both cases...all the toppings including the cheese slid completely off the very soggy crust. also the toppings had slid to one side during delivery. the manager i spoke with after the first pizza was professional and courteous when i called regarding the first one, however now the 2nd one was the same. i won't be calling to complain or order again. maybe this pizza is best eaten at the restaurant, although the flavors have been underwhelming.

love. this. pizza. i have had a difficult time eating pizza from anywhere else since discovering this little gem a couple of years ago. i have not tried one of their pies that i didn't like. the building is warm and inviting, the service is great, and the pizza speaks for itself.
