i hvorderedsukto..begun paturi nd mutton curry...just yummilicious...service was very quick nd d mutton was just awsome..nicely cuked nd very soft..i just loved it...😊☺😊😊

iorderedechor, dhoka and aloo bhaja. both the sabjis were quite oily. the echor wasn't that great. dhoka was a lil better, but the dhoka pieces were hard. aloo bhaja was good, quantity was more than that they serve in the restaurant.

mutton dehati was good, chicken butter masala was also up to the mark.
my motherorderedfish curry, to our surprise both of their curries in fish delicacies tasted bland, she complained about it but it was not for any good.
every other thing apart from that was as expected i.e. good but not that much hype worthy.
one bizarre thing is that they living in 2020 but using the age old transaction sys. i.e. only cash...haha.... strange but true...

iorderedmutton and paid about 350 bucks of amount and it was just waste worst experience tasteless gravy even pieces was not good just booked awkkkkk...😔😔😔waste of money and time shame shame shame......

i've been ordering from this restaurant for the past 3 days. last day iorderedmutton rogan josh, the preparation was quite good although one piece of mutton out of five felt undercooked. today iorderedthe same dish again and only 3 pieces of mutton were delivered, all of which were hard as concrete. i'm never going to order any mutton dish from here ever again.

good place in ranchi to have bengali and odia dishes.orderedplain rice, chicken curry and potato fries(aloo bhaja). decent portion of rice and spicy chicken curry was a pretty good combination as it turned out to be. aloo bhaja was crispy. total bill came out to be 179/-

iorderedfor the first time since i've heard good things about this place... but it was the exact opposite. iorderedmutton nd it was half cooked.. it looked as if they somehow just sent it. won't recommend

hadorderedsarso rehu and egg curry. to be honest it was the worst i have ever had in my life. fish was dry and gravy was tasteless and uncooked. egg curry gravy was watery and tasteless. my suggestion is that change your chef asap unless the owner is the chef himself. if so please recruit someone who can cook at least. never ordering again.

food is very pathetic....the quality of food is very much degraded...it is better to order from somewhere else.....i haveorderedfish masala....the masala was whole watery...as if fish in fresh water....never expected such bad food

i had been in ranchi for over a week and was tired of the rich hotel food. i wanted soul food. being a bengali that generally means mach bhaat and dal to me. thanks to zomato, i think i hit gold when i accidentally stumbled on this post about the new india hotel serving bengali cuisine.

though the entrance of the place looks shady from outside and is quite literally through a dark dingy lane, you will forgive the restaurant for this once as soon as you take your first dig at their food. as soon as you enter, there is long climb till the third floor for the dining area. the ambiance of the building is that of an old north kolkata house with red oxide floors and wooden window shutters. this already preps you up for a good bengali experience.

i happened to go for lunch to this place andorderedthe famed mutton curry and rice and oh boy, i was totally blown away, both by taste, quantity and time of service. the place was literally crawling with people and still my order was served in under 5 minutes. i was served with a mounting pile of rice, a dash of lemon, chilies and mutton curry. there were 4 large, succulent pieces, and they seem to maintain the standard across all the servings of mutton. no one gets an unfair share. they do have a platter of fish and vegetarian dishes, but they seem to be very limited and get out of stock quite literally within an hour and a half of the restaurant's start time.

as i was exiting from the restaurant, i happened to notice a lady over 60 years old in kitchen. upon asking a few waiters around, i discovered that the delicious mutton curry is prepared according to her recipe and she personally supervises the mutton preparation to ensure there is absolutely no compromise in quality and she has been doing this right from the day the hotel was inaugurated to now. now that's some commitment to quality.

i hv been to this hotel again n again....!!!! quite nice is this hotel. this is really an indian hotel, coz u need not to maintain any table manner n all that shit...u would see people eating happily in their most comfortable desi way which is available at rock bottom price.
it's best to take a seat at a corner and forget everything else, then there is you n yourorderedfood only. start eating and don't look around as nobody gives a shit bout anybody. u would leave this hotel with a big smile n overstuffed stomach..!!!

had a hard time finding this place as it is in a small lane. the food here is so cheap and tasty. one should try the mutton curry if they are looking for some spicy food. some of the fish curries iorderedwere not that spicy. if you are looking for ambience i would suggest not to go there. but the place is always busy and the quality of the food is awesome.
