before raleigh was the bubbling cauldron of culinary excitement it is today, neomonde was there. the restaurant tucked behind the train tracks on hillsborough street has been dishing out lebanesefoodlong before it was a heralded cuisine.

excellent lebanese food! super healthy and tasty! the service was great and thefoodwas great. the hummus, tabouli, and mjadara were yummy!

middle east & mediterranean & more. if you haven't been here you are missing the bestfoodin raleigh.
dine-in or take-out and so inexpensive!
the new north raleigh store is lovely and fantastic, at lead mine and harvest oaks,
1 block from lead mine and strickland,
at lowe's foods & kerr drugs & bikram yoga strip shopping center.

the shawarma failed to live up to the high standards i was used to back home, though the assiduously cooked meat did induce nostalgia. the quantity is generous and the service is fast and efficient. there is decent parking space available, and though we ordered take away, i felt the place had the ambiance of a mediterraneanfoodbazaar.

the place looks wonderful and everything. you have decent lighting and colors and gives you a partial street sorta feeling. but thefoodfails to bring about the same appeal. i had shawarma and it is less than satisfying. there wasn't the expected flavor as you bite into the meat. it definitely should have been more grilled and smoky. the lack of veggies and good dressing quite simply elaborated the failure of the meat. the bread was fine but the marriage was a total sham.

great find! wonderful food. great atmosphere. they have been here for 36 years for a reason. the decor is fresh. thefoodis fresher. they know something, and it works. the line goes quickly, and they bring yourfoodright out to you. wonderful dining experience for some freshfoodfrom the mediterranean. the variety is great.

best med. in the triangle. i think this is the best mediterraneanfoodin the triangle. lots of healthy options at good prices. i ate at an event catered by neomonde, and everyone seemed very excited about thefoodand how it was different than the usual catered fare of bland, unhealthy food.

not good. tried a spinach flatbread/pizza thing and didn't really care for it. tried a few of the things on my wife's sampler platter too, but nothing stood out as impressive.foodtasted kind of bland and watery with spices on top to try to cover it up. the wait was long for ourfoodand the place doesn't have the atmosphere of a restaurant. rather it feels more like the kind of cafe you see inside target. got a bag of pita to go and those were good, but didn't care for the restaurant itself. also bought a packaged date cookie, but when it opened the wrapper i saw that it was horribly crushed. disappointing.

inside you’ll find a small grocery area for middle eastern typefoodstuffs, baked goods and a counter up front with a cold table, salads and more. put in your order if you want one of neomonde’s wraps or sandwiches, you can grab a side off the cold table which is charged by weight. i order up a full beef-lamb shwarma (which also comes in half sizes) along with a side of roasted corn salad.

delicious, authentic and lovely atmosphere. i ate a small lamb shawarma with the meat being tender and the sauce richly spiced but not overpowering.

the lunch box was modestly priced and included 2 sides and a small dessert. the meal without a drink was under $10.

the restaurant offers bottled beer. there is also a mediterranean market with amazing freshly baked breads.

given i am afoodphotographer, i don't take cellphone photos of my food. thefoodwas full of color and presented well given it was a deli-line style service served on thick recycled paper plates

i would recommend neomonde to friends.

fantastic catering for our wedding. neomonde is fantastic! my fiance and i, after navigating through many options, decided that we wanted neomonde to cater our wedding. it was one of the best choices for our wedding and we can't say enough good things about the food, professionalism, attention to detail and service. neomonde was key to making our wedding day memorable and a huge success. we made our decision because we frequent neomonde regularly to eat and theirfoodis always fresh, tasty and satisfying. besides being one of our favorite eateries , their catering is top notch as well! we and our guests were so pleased! thank you neomonde!

good fresh food. thefoodat neomonde is great for something light and delicious! the chicken salad is unlike any i've ever had and you will want more! the hummus is also delicious.

would have eaten here every meal.... ...if i could have talked the rest of my group into it. this place is really hidden - we followed gps to what looked like an industrial park and it was hidden behind some trucks.foodwas great, had lots of fun wandering through the market, found some things i can't find in my stores at home.
