something fishy in amarillo.... as a frequent traveler, i often use urbanspoon to find local restaurants in my destination cities. upon reviewing the selection in amarillo, i came upon something that just didn't add up in regards to the sudden drastic change in popularity percentage of the top 3 restaurants. until very recently, three outstanding restaurants held the top spots in town. it is apparent that napoli's is on a mission to tarnish the town name on urbanspoon. the percentages of the 3 top spots has dropped over 20 points in the last few days and ironically napoli's percentage has risen by about as much. i am very much in support of local fare but do not approve of an establishment that aims to brandish other supporting locals. i have not eaten at napoli's, and their food might be fine...but i will never set foot in this place. to those of you carelessly voting just for the numbers, have any of you actually eaten at the previous top 3 restaurants?? they remain some of the best in town despite your efforts. at this point, urbanspoon might as well give them the top spot they so dearly covet so that others can go about their business in a professional and mature manner. as for those of us who travel and use urbanspoon in search of something new, you are a disgrace napoli's! you have taken the fun out of a great online tool. to the other local businesses in amarillo vying for the top spot on urbanspoon, good luck and play fair!
