the restaurant had nothing good except ambience.
the food quality was much below average. have a very limited menu, even with that couple of items on menu were not available. even the desserts which we ordered was kulfi (pistachio) and what they got was malai rabri, and when we asked even the chef was trying to convince that it is like this.
any layman can differentiate between a rabri and a kulfi.
was really disappointing, had planned my anniversary there, but was seriously frustrated with the kind of slowest service and very low quality of food.
this isn’t a place for having to celebrate i any special day or occasion.

excellent taste and presentation of food.. we tried the shake shake which was unique. we were also served with complimentary samples of matar kulcha.. hospitality was amazing

we had such a wonderful experience. we were served by david and vincent, very hospitable and kind in nature. their fall in love is really delicious, we ordered konkan prawn, sharing non veg platter which is must try..

big shout out to david for making this family dinner so memorable and awesome dining experience. the moment we walked in everything was exceptionally well taken care be it service or the food ,ambiance all top notch. would definitely recommend this place and please be rest assured for wonderful hospitality experience

the exceptional service from david and vincent kept the ambience of the restaurant stunning. the food was superb with diverse taste. furthermore, the one in one service and engagement with the customer was a fabulous touch.

we have been looking to visit namak for a while and finally this weekend we visited.

ambience of the restaurant is casual but the staff there are so polite and sweet. i would specially like to thank sumila who made our experience so wonderful.

we went for the set menu..the quantity was just fine so that you don't over eat. though towards the end of the journey i was quite stuff.

i would have preferred a better dessert option. i guess i enjoyed all the 10dishes however my favorite being the chaat, duck tart, lamb.

good classy restaurant serving indian cuisine in abu dhabi. today was my second visit and see some veg options have increased.

particularly liked the jackfruit sabji served with black appam. jackfruit sabji was awesome but appam was awful. firstly appam traditionally is served in a set of two pieces. secondly the mashed up jackfruit was served on appam which totally overcast the appam. thirdly appam should be like appam big and fat centred and not puny diet version. the stewardess by default ordered additional naan so she knew the issue with appam and the quantity.

namak quantity of servings are really and dismally small. they should seriously address this issue. indians and more so punjabis are known for king sized servings. kapur i presume is a punjabi. 😋

presentation is flawless and that's what i take my guests there for. taste is also good. only if they address the quantities.

rasmalai dessert is an exception and you get good quantity in single serve. i assume rasmalai is outsourced.😁

chat which is raj kachori is assembled in front of you so is very interesting and sets you drooling. yoghurt sweetness though can be tomed down.

worth a visit.

limited options for vegetarian. the taste of dishes we ordered was average. ambiance is good and staff is friendly and attentive but the prices are on a bit higher side as compared to other fine dine restaurants.

it was nice experience overall.

i celebrated my birthday at namak tonight and it was a wonderful experience. from the moment we entered to the moment we left the restaurant, service was exceptional. we had raj kachori in starters, dum chicken biryani, kali mirch murgh, chicken tikka masala, butter chicken and seekh kabab. in desserts, we ordered ras malai, falooda and gajar ka halwa. everything was delectable. the staff are the real stars with well informed and polite servers. definitely going to visit again !!

definitely a big tick against our must-do, must-visit restaurants #inabudhabi !

-they offer you a welcome drink, kala namak , which is indeed so refreshing and soothing!
-for starters we ordered, mildly spiced shahi murg kalimirch tikka, they came beautifully presented with sev and spiced onion
-for mains:
paneer tikka masala
garlic naan
butter naan
chicken tikka biryani
ended on a sweet note with warm gulab jamuns!😊

namak in dusit thani is a indian cuisine restaurant catering to fine dining. we visited with family and friends on the occasion of deepavali. they had a special deepavali festive menu both in veg as well as non-veg. the veg menu consisted of veg and roasted almonds soup, brocolli and mushroom tandoori, paneer tikka in the starters and paneer pasanda & subz begum bahar in the main course with saffron rice and bread basket. the non- veg menu had mutton soup, chicken tikka and mutton chapli kebab in the starters and prawns masala & chicken kheema tikka masala with saffron rice and bread basket in the main course.

imarti with rabdi and indian mithai in the dessert concluded the festival offering.

the food was mildly spiced with generous amount of cream in the vegetarian menu making it a bit sweeter in taste. we had to request to serve a spicier version without cream which the staff happily provided.

the bread basket only had roti and plain naan. cheese chilly naan, laccha paratha and garlic naan did not reach our table.

the items were well cooked with a good balance of various ingredients which gave a distinct taste.

the rabdi was mildly sweet which was a plus.

the serving staff were very particular about everyone's needs and especially ms. hema ensured that we were comfortable. their personal attention is much appreciated.

the ambience and the colour combination of the interior is good.

they also have a bar set up separately from the general sitting area.

its a cool place to spend time with family and friends to relax.

next time we will visit to explore the la carte menu.
