so i visited the place after reading a lot of good reviews however i wasn’t as impressed as other people were, i was expecting very fusion taste but honestly i was the same like any other fine dining resturant
what worked for me was paneer tikka, it was soft and juicy and some rose ice shot they gave as pallet cleanser i believe it was amazing
what didn’t work for me was the chaat it was suppose to be one big rajkachori but the taste just didn’t click i mean it wasn’t sweet, tangy it spicy enough as you expect from a chaat and the kadai chicken, i mean it was literally anything served in any 3 star or lesser resturant maybe.
finally the price is quite high and it really feels expensive to dine here
though full marks to the staff, they were very polite and courteous

went for the groupon 10 course experience - mixed reviews about the food but for the price was a good experience. they listened to the feedback and made changes to the menu but needed to confirm booking a few times which was frustrating. the signature chaat was really good - probably the highlight of the evening!

from the moment we stepped inside till the time we cleared the check, it was indeed an amazing dining experience! the highly trained team at namak made sure our dining experience stayed true to our expectations! special mention to sameela for her courteous and attentive service and last but not the least, thanks to sayooj for crafting that special coconut cocktail! we loved the spread of rose petals on our table and my wife! thanks for making our valentine's evening truly memorable!

the first time i visited namak i sampled only a few of the vegetarian dishes like bread pakora & khichdaa. i liked it so much i came back to taste their non vegetarian fare. the kerala duck tarts, nalli korma, haleem kebabs, payasom, mango lassi, all were superb & the service was exceptional.

the valentine's dinner (at namak, dusit thani abu dhabi) was a bad experience and a complete waste of money. i've had reasonable experience in previous occassions with a la carte but this so called 'special 9-course valentine's dinner' was really appalling. a big let down by this celebrated chef.

we went, as family, to celebrate this day and were served food that was ill planned, for vegetarians, and just not thought about and there was practically nothing that we could enjoy in main course. we felt and discussed the same opinion from a few other families who were there.
would never recommend this experience to anyone ever.

what a beautiful place to dine ! we went to this place for valentine’s day dinner, and i cam say that its one of the best places to have cuisines which are so innovative, so delicious, so sumptuous !!
absolutely loved each one of the preparation.

anyway i am a die hard fan of chef kunal kapur, and this place made me a bigger fan of him
surely gonna repeat again !

this was over rated and expensive. i found it a very sterile place to eat and the staff quite cold and robotic service. the starter had foamed milk on it which made it look like sea foam, the cod main course lacked taste.as did the selection of flavoured butters served with bread. i wouldn't go again.

we recently went to this restaurant for a birthday celebration!! the cocktail collection was good and innovative. so was the food menu. only concern was the cost and the quantity given for the dishes. understandably it is celebrity chef restaurant , so it will be costly but at least the quantity should make up for the cost! most of the dishes were as good as 1 portion!!
also few dishes were de constructed for innovation like rogan josh and chicken kadhai!! even the staff didn’t inform as that it will have only 3 pieces so we need to order more!! apart from this it is a good restaurant with good quality!!

i went for my anniversary. it’s a good new fine dinning restraunt found kunal kapur was present there interacting with guests. the presentation of the food is good. the variety of the food is a bit less and taste is typical punjabi restraunt in delhi. overall a very good experience and can be visited frequently if you like indian food with great presentation.

what a great experience!!

my wife is a big fan of kunal kapur (who's not?) and we went all the way from dubai to abu dhabi for dinner.

very nice ambience, staff was welcoming and the atmosphere made us feel good.

"oops i dropped my chaat" a catchy name and the starter definitely tickled our taste buds. everything we tried was delicious and there was an element of novelty.

we were offered a complementary chocolate cake and it was mouth watering.

the biggest treat for the evening was to meet the celebrity chef kunal kapur himself.

being a die hard fan of chef kunal kapur the visit to his newly opened restaurant in abu dhabi was actually quite overdue. but as they say all good things are worth the wait.

with an amazing menu- such difficult choices.. we finally settled on tbe following

for starters:

1. haleem kabab (4/5) - such a melt in mouth divine experience. made us actually order another round but we had more dishes to devour
2. oops i dropped my chaat (4/5)- an interesting take on raj kachori. who new passion fruit chutney would taste so great.
3. chicken malai tikka (3/5)- failed to impress and was just another chicken tikka.

for the main course
1. saag burratta (4.5/5) my favourite of the night! such an amazing twist on palak paneer. i could just eat the dish by itself. and the butter toasted buns served alongside were on point!
2. chicken tikka masala (3.5/5) tender well marinated chicken in a rich gravy.
3. kitchda (4.5/5) mushroom barley risotto with a rasam (yes, rasam!!) sauce. another favourite of the night.

desserts:

1. paan flavoured creme brulee (3/5)
2. mango lassi soft serve (could have been a bigger portion 😁)

all in all a great dining experience, with a chance to meet the chef himself.
definitely worth a repeat visit cos there's so much more on the menu left to try!!
