what we ordered;
-they offer you a welcome drink, kala namak , which is indeed so refreshing and soothing!
-for starters we ordered, mildly spiced shahi murg kalimirch tikka, they came beautifully presented with sev and spiced onion
-for mains:
paneer tikka masala
garlic naan
butter naan
chicken tikka biryani
ended on a sweet note with warm gulab jamuns!😊

a huge shout out to namak, dusit thani. i recently posted a query regarding restaurants with set menu options for group gathering. vincent from namak contacted thru the group, n after talling to him, we had no looking back n didn't need any further options!! my first mention goes for him because, he was sooo patient with all my queries, helped me with a budget even worked out an ala carte menu of how i wanted it to be n well within my budget. he was kind enough to arrange for a few complimentary items on my request too 🙂. all i can say is that he is one of the best managers who was all ears for his perspective customer n very very responsive.
my second mention goes to the venue..its just beautiful!! awesome ambience, classy vibes n exquisite interiors! but cherry on the cake was the secluded area for seating that we got, it gave us enough space to have comfortable seating arrangements for 20 ppl and also gave us privacy to enjoy amongst ourselves, without disturbing the other guests. they even have a large grp area specifically dedicated for it..but due to corona only 10 ppl were allowed on a table, so couldn't take that.
third and the final mention goes to the food!!! all i can say is it was just perfect! chef kailash and his entire team did an amazing job. indian food, full of flavours! every dish was just perfect. we had the papdi chaat and veg platter as starters n both of them tantalised our taste buds. for mains we had malai kofta, paneer tikka masala, daal sultani which comes with complementary steamed rice ( which on our request was upgraded to jeera rice) all were amazing, apt flavours, nothing too oily or over spicy. our guests loved every bite! portion size was very decent, not pea sized as with most of the fine dining. when it comes to drink they just out did themselves.. they have out of the world mocktails.. we got kaala namak as welcome drink which was way toooo good..but the drink we chose for everyone "fall in love"..was every bit true to its name. it was amaaaaazing. can't praise it enough..just tooo good. and the presentation of the drink wasgreattoo..lastly for desserts we chose the sampler with rabri falooda, gajar halwa and a ice cream. all of them out of this world.
my recommendation : a must try place for awesome indian fine dining.
they have some family brunch offer starting from november 1st week @169 pp, with live counters, i am going there again to drown myself in the yummy food, indian food fans can tey it out too!

great dining experience. they’ve kept the food authentic which is agreatthing to see. chicken chettinad was excellent and so was the garlic nan. not chewy at all. good wine list too. kulfi was a very nice dessert. good portion sizes too, not to small or too big. special mention needs to be made of the wait staff, especially sumila. very polite and efficient.

you should skip several meals before visiting this amazing restaurant😄😋great variety and fine value testing menu,everything is so tasty, you cannot restrained yourself from having all of the dishes😌🥰

so it was my husband’s birthday and we decided to go out for a quiet and special dinner. everything about the restaurant wasgreat- the ambience, the food and the service. i have to make a special mention of musthafa who patiently explained to us about the items on the menu and helped us choose the best. he made sure we all were looked after very well :) we ordered the chat, chicken tacos, tandoori murg and chicken tikka masala. each item was mouthwatering delicious. also, the complimentary namak paare, cheese kulcha and sorbet were delightfully tasty. the manager mr. yasir also checked on us a couple of times to make sure all was fine. the birthday boy got a complimentary mocktail and a cute dessert cake too. we had a lovely evening and the experience was way beyond our expectations.

i would rate each and every step in this restaurant as very courteous and friendly. mustafa the server ensured we are comfortable from start until we left the restaurant. they were so friendly with kids.

we were welcomed with a drink with cumin, mint leaves.. was so refreshing.. loved the flavor..

started with ordering chettinad prawns with rice pancake.. i still can’t get over that dish. the flavour , spice level and the chettinad touch was so relishing...

then came small little cheese kulcha with spicy chutney.. that was so tasty..yum yum.

malai chicken tikka is just perfect for kids.. zero spice.. but still very flavourful🥰

next came in the chicken tikka tacos.. they are to die for.. highly highly recommended. .the concept, taste, quality *****

lastly we had morley fish which had a coconut curry and lemon rice.. just the best.

all in all i highly recommend the place and look forward to visiting again.

after trying many of his receipes from his youtube channel, i can say that i am fan of kunal kapoor’s cooking. his receipes are always simple, easy to make and turns out delish!

thats one reason why we were eager to visit namak.
upon arriving, i felt that this place looks much better in person. there are lots of good spots to take personal pictures e.g. the wall at the entrance is a pretty backdrop for agreatpicture and a tree just outside the restaurant. we were welcomed with ‘kala jeera drink’ shots followed by a basket of papad( i love fine dines that offer complimentary stuff, well who doesn’t love freebies ;)

-bread pakora(made with charcol batter)
-shake shake(lotus stem chips with tamrind chutney and curd)
-tacos
-gulab jamun
-chenna tiramisu( this one is so yum; contains coffee liquaer and tastes heavenly)

we absolutely loved their hospitality and food. staff is polite, friendly and cheerful. orders are placed via ipad.

it was amazing experience with the ten course meal. i love sumila. she was very friendly and helpful. she also kept my daughter entertained and happy. the food tasted delicious. the quantity was great. but the desert options could be better. all in allgreatfood and service. will definitely recommend it to friends and family.

the first item served was namak para with butter made at @namak_dusitad and a small starter (mini stuffed bun) with chutney 😋

then came the chicken taco and bunny bhaji - just too yum, can be put in words especially the taco 🤩

the main course was nalli korma (slow cooked lamb shank, robust masala gravy) and khitchda! hubby and i already felt full after having the khichda. nalli korma was too good - tasted like nihari reminding us of hyderabad (tasted just same like old city nahari, gravy here was quite thick though)

closed it out on a sweet note - with chenna tiramisu ... mini rasmalai, espresso, peanut chilli and mascarpone... unlike the italian signature tiramisu this was served kn a plate! both of us have a sweet tooth and hence enjoyed every bit of it 😍

all in all was a ma shaa allah treat!!!greatfood, nice ambience and not to forget awesome staff 👍

one of the best fine dining restaurants that iv come across. loved the ambience, the decor. it was beautiful. we had a table reserved as it was a friend's birthday. welcomed by polite andgreatstaff.

we were welcomed with jal jeera, a refreshing drink and with some bread and different kinds of butter. it was interesting. along with that was a cute mini aloo burger.

for starters we had the chicken tacos, which was amazing.. the tortilla/ bread was soo soft and amazing. loved the fillings of chicken tikka, apricot chutney and the crispy potato. it was too good. for the main we had nalli korma with roti, the lamb was soft and the flavours were amazing. and for the dessert we had the chenna tiramisu. simply amazing. the mini rasmalai were too cute. and the best thing is, they serve an alcoholic and non alcoholic version.😉

there is a lot of thought and creativity that's put into each of the dishes and it can be seen on the plate, which is amazing. loved evrything.

overall, it was agreatexperience. made our evening, a memorable one. staff were really good and made sure we were comfortable. would definitely come back to try out more on the menu.
