excellent. the general tso's chicken is among the best i have ever eaten. the dipping sauce for the crab rangoon is amazing. i haven't tried the sushi yet, one day i will work up the nerve.

really good sushi!. went to nt today for lunch. place was quiet today, a couple days after christmas. i got nigiri only, white tuna, uni, and tobiko. was given free cucumber/seaweed/pollak krab appetizer along with a white tuna appetizer on the house that were both very good. the uni was exceptionally fresh, service was attentive but not overbearing. my regular sushi restaurant, sakura, never has uni, my favorite, so i will drive the extra mile or two to get it. definitely recommended!

have always had good knowledgeable service here. if i ever had a question, our server had an answer, or went to go fetch someone who did. atmosphere is great, good first date kinda place :) prices are about on oar with other sushi places in town...the rolls are a little bigger, and so is the price. they also have some unique sushi rolls that you don't find anywhere else.. ie crunch munch, playboy roll, corona roll ll keep coming back here :)

the best... ever.... this is arguably the best sushi i have ever had…ever. i have been to many places all over the states, and this was, again, the best i have ever had. we created a sampler of octopus salad, pork shumi with wasabi, and the playboy roll. there was easily enough food here for two people; we could not finish it all. the presentation was incredible. it looked just as good as it tasted. the service was above and beyond. the décor was very nice; music was a nice blend of 80s rock. the restaurant was immaculate.
fort wayne has a real winner here. make sure to stop in here and try this!

meh. . .. i can just never decide how i feel about this place. i've only been there a couple times, and both times the food's been great. there's a huge selection of sushi and other types of asian food. . . which can be overwhelming, especially for a sushi novice like myself.

on my first visit i got a bento box which was good, but overpriced. the second time i got some vegetarian sushi (with mango and other fruits in it), which was fantastic. . . but, sadly, overpriced. plus, of course, i was still hungry, so i ordered these dumplings which were great, but, again, overpriced.

similar to a previous reviewer, i know i'd get the same quality sushi at any of the other sushi restaurants in town for a lower bill. i think you pay for the "atmosphere": pier-1-esque dishes, large, roomy building, and zen-type decorations. if that's your thing, you'll love it.

disappointed in service. i had heard how great this place was. i came in with a party of 12 and we were seated very quickly. the service started out great and the drinks were filled quickly throughout the experience. orders were taken timely. after everyone else had gotten their soups, i had to ask for mine. then came the wait. it seemed to take a long time for the food to arrive and when it did, only 11 of us received theirs. the 12th member of the party did not get their food until the rest of us were almost done eating. i felt very badly for her. needless to say she got hers in a take out box. she had asked for plastic utensils so she could eat in the car on her ride home to michigan. after being promised it, she did not get it. had to ask at the front desk on the way out. she did get a discount on the meal, but it should have been free! on top of that, the tip was automatically added to everyone's bill. i know that is common practice, but when you have a disappointed member in your party, it doesn't seem right. she was screwed.

the menu had enough variety to please everyone in our party of 5 that included seniors, teenagers, vegetarians, and sushi connoisseurs. my one criticism was that the music in the dining room was too loud.

first time. saw a review in fort wayne business, so i thought i would try it. liked the service very much. seated quickly, nice menu, good wine.

food was ok. i ordered the spicy chicken bento box. chicken came with some type of orange-red batter which made it spicey. soups are good, nice variety in the box.

the negitive came when i got the bill. i was charged $17.99 for the $15,99 bento box. nothing i hate worse than wrong prices in this world of computers. no reason for wrong prices, ..so it makes you think, is it on purpose?
watch your bill....

family dinner time. we took my parents there and they really enjoyed it. it proves that the selection of food really appeals to a wide audience. we had a great meal and you can't beat the bento box. that said, the service remains spotty at best. the host didn't seem very interested in us eating there and obviously had better things to do. the server was very nice, but poorly trained which unfortunately is very consistent. thank goodness the food makes up for the service.

nice selection beyond the sushi norm. we've eaten here four times now. the service has been good and mediocre, it comes and goes. the food has been consistent though and always delicious. we've enjoyed everything we've tried from korean beef to sushi. i love the selection although it is overwhelming as the menu is huge. i like that it's not the same old sushi. it's a relatively comfortable place with music that is out of place, but a nice change from the normal sushi restaurant.

pish posh treated like royalty. i've been to both upscale sushi places here in fort wayne and both have fresh, amazing food; however, "the naked" is the far away winner. not only is the decor open and truely feng shui, the conversation flows, and the wait staff and chefs have such positive energy and do all they can to make dinner an experience.

"the naked" has a unique menu, with new and exciting things to try. i'm not a raw fish eater, so i highly recommend the "playboy" shushi roll, which is served flaming at the table, or the "crunch n munch" dotted with a slice of ginger and a touch of wasabi. in either roll, you'll find the largest pieces of shrimp or crab known to the sea! the chef will slice your roll so that each person can have a slice, so everyone could order a different dish and each person could have a taste!

no one at our table could eat the entire portion of the dishes from the kitchen! so much wonderful food.

also nice and spicy is the general tsao's chicken. now don't expect the usual "chinese" buffet quality here... no msg, nothining is "cornstarched" to death. if you remember how house of hunan was in the 1980s, then you will be happy to dine here... truely good cooking with fresh, high quality ingredients.

something you have to try is letting the chef serve you what he thinks you would enjoy. they can do this for the entire table or for an intimate dinner experience. (shh) they have more than one party room, and a "private" dining area as well.

dessert is fun! sliced ice cream covered in japanese candies. an elegant ice cream scoop served among a custom designed "floral" arrangement.

asakusa is cramped, compartmentalized, and loud. you can't see the chef prepare your food, and the wait staff is not all that friendly. takaoka is just like any other "orlando" tourist attraction, charging $1.95 every time they refill your soft drink... and they keep brining them! it is smoky, and not very entertaining any more. the chefs at takaoka used to engage the table, but the last 4 visits i've had have been "blah."

now, the bar. every evening i've been there, the bar is full of very nice looking men in business suits! the cocktails were unique, and the service is wonderful.

i wouldn't recommend this place for young children with picky chicken nugget desires. young urbans and older professionals abound here, even on weeknights... so your whinners would not be appreciated by the adjoining grownups.

upscale casual dress is most common.

you can't turn left off of us 24, so go through the kroger parking lot, drive past the front door of the store, and turn left at the stop sign. just past the state police post is the sign for the hilton garden inn. the entrance area is under construction, but this is the right place!
