meh..... everything here is hit or miss. on some days i will have a very nice server, and other days theserveris very rude and inattentive. the food is the same way.

horrible service,warm sushi, overall nasty.serverwiped table down then used same cloth to wipe plate.

still fantastic sushi. this is one of my favorite restaurants in fort wayne. i just want people to know that the food is always great, and the head sushi chef goes out of his way to make me feel welcome everytime i come in.

the new owner is offering discounts to returning customers from fort wayne. just ask.

good food, so so atmosphere. food was really good. service not so much. manager brought out part of food and never came back. ourserverretrieved the rest of our food and provided great service from that point on. another negative was the very loud large party on the other side of the wall, somebody should have cut them off and asked them to quite down. they really disturbed our meal.
however, its definitely worth it to come back and get more fantastic sushi despite poor management and rude tables.

excellent sushi! the playboy roll and fire roll were our favorites. we also ordered the crab rangoon and it was the best we'd ever had. ourserverwas fast friendly. only minor complaint was the hostesses were not very friendly (didn't say hello or goodbye) and were having a personal conversation with each other that could be taken a little offensive by some. they were immature.

odd place. giant menu, food was pretty good really. place was a tomb. hard to put my finger on what was missing, really. maybe it was just a little too expensive for what we got? ourserverwas nice. it took us forever to order, and she told us (believe me she had plenty of time) that it normally takes people a long time to order.

i don't know really, a hard one to describe. maybe it was trying too hard to be cool?

terrible!!!. i will never go back to naked tchopstix! the service is absolutely horrible!! the manager looked like he was 12 years old!!! managed poorly and ourserverwas awful!!! if this tells you anything, we were in there on a saturday night at 7:00 p.m. (prime time) and the place was not busy at all!! don't waste your time and money going there! it is also not an easy place to get to!

have always had good knowledgeable service here. if i ever had a question, ourserverhad an answer, or went to go fetch someone who did. atmosphere is great, good first date kinda place :) prices are about on oar with other sushi places in town...the rolls are a little bigger, and so is the price. they also have some unique sushi rolls that you don't find anywhere else.. ie crunch munch, playboy roll, corona roll ll keep coming back here :)

family dinner time. we took my parents there and they really enjoyed it. it proves that the selection of food really appeals to a wide audience. we had a great meal and you can't beat the bento box. that said, the service remains spotty at best. the host didn't seem very interested in us eating there and obviously had better things to do. theserverwas very nice, but poorly trained which unfortunately is very consistent. thank goodness the food makes up for the service.

nice selection beyond the sushi norm. we've eaten here four times now. the service has been good and mediocre, it comes and goes. the food has been consistent though and always delicious. we've enjoyed everything we've tried from korean beef to sushi. i love the selection although it is overwhelming as the menu is huge. i like that it's not the same old sushi. it's a relatively comfortable place with music that is out of place, but a nice change from the normal sushi restaurant.

don't be bashful, get "naked"!. i decided to try this place on the basis of some of the reviews here. the exterior is brightly painted in red and orange. the interior is very nice, with a different mood in each room. i was greeted warmly and asked for a table in the bar. the bar is good sized with plenty of bar stools as well as some high-top tables and a few booths. lots of dark wood and tasteful asian art mix with the muted lighting to create a warm atmosphere. the main dinning room/sushi bar employs lighter wood and lighting, but nice contemporary accents. an additional dining room to one side is similar. all aspects of the restaurant were imaculately clean including the restroom.
myserverwas very friendly and prompt. i chose some pork/wasabi siew mai as an appetizer. they appeared a few minutes later served with some soy dipping sauce. the meat was the consistency of chinese meat balls and the little wasabi highlight in each bite was the perfect level of spice. for the main dish i had "spicey scallops". this was a large plate with a very ample portion of tender, delicious scallops stir fried with carrot, cabbage, green pepper and a great pepper sauce. lots of tender seafood and spicey crunch in every bite.
i left very full and very happy.
location note: this place is almost invisible from jefferson now that a new hilton garden hotel has gone up in front of it. look for the hotel and then drive around back!

fantastic food. the sushi here is so good. for those of you who can' t stand the idea of eating raw fish, you have to try this sushi restaurant. they have many many rolls that are cooked. the crunch munch roll filled with tempura and cooked shrimp is excellent. the dancing dragon with cooked eel and avocado is wonderful. they even have a hot sushi roll, the fire roll, that is dipped in tempura batter and deep fried. if you don't want any meat, you can't go wrong with the mango tango roll, which is totally vegetarian.
service was great. fast , friendly, outgoing young servers who seemed to be having fun and staying on top of it.
awesome asian decor with modern american pop music fuses the whole east meets west vibe the place has going on.
prepare to spend some money when you get here cause one roll is never enough. bring friends and share a huge platter of rolls.
make a reservation if you want to eat on the weekends but they tell me that during the week you should be able to drop in whenever you want and a table will be available.
we had dinner, but ourserverinformed us that they have a great lunch menu that features both sushi and hot asian food all under $10. she also told us that they have drink features of half price martinis on wednesday and $20 bottles of wine early in the week.

i really think that this is the hottest new restaurant in fort wayne.

oh, and it is really hard to find but really worth it. don't try to use your gps to get there, it will get you lost. turn into the kroger across from coventry go through the parking lot, turn left on the road in front of the state police post, , see the sign that says hilton garden inn, then turn right into their parking lot, you should be able to see it.

amazing....but i cant speak for the managment!. the frist time i went to naked tchopstix, was probably about a month ago. the first thing that impressed me were the hostesses. as soon as i walked in the door i was immediately greeted. they were very kind and had good manners. i wrote their names down on a piece of paper so i could write this reveiw. julie and leticia. as for the food, wow! everything i had was amazing! i tried the crab toast and jam and ordered like 10 sushi rolls. :) i know the playboy was a winner. i cant remember any of the other ones, but there wasnt one i didnt like. myserverwas pretty awesome too! her name was jamie. she always kept a smile on her face! that is what makes an amazing resturant and its atmosphere even better! the only downfall to my trip was the managment!!! i give them a -10 on their presence. i asked a differentserverwalking by who their manager was for that day and she pointed to a woman who seemed to always have her cell phone in her hands! i then asked if there was someone else i could talk to who dressed and looked the "part" about my great experience because i felt that a manager shouldnt be wearing leggings and snow boots with a postion like that. so she sent brandon (i believe his name was) he on the other hand was dressed appropriately but....his attitude sucked!! if i were ever given the chance to speak to the owners i would tell them they've done a wonderful job on everything...except their management! it's a major down fall. although, i will be returning. hopefully they will have their stuff together next time i visit.

food good, service good, management rude. hello, how is everyone?
well we have been there twice one was about 2 weeks ago, and our service was awesome her name i believe was jamie...then we came there last saturday night sat in the bar and areserverwas carly she was awesome too.
we love the playboy and the crunch munch then we had 2 glasses of red wine and the maui and mafia roll, both times areserverwas on time and excellent.
but when we came saturday night, i think she was the manager she was short long hair redish hair. she was very rude to servers and had a attitude infront of customers...
we love the food and the atmosphere and servers but if your gona run a retaurant you should always wear a smile and have a awesome attitude no matter where u are at...

poor food worse service. i recently visited the new naked tchopstix in ft. wayne and was very excited to try it out. visited for lunch this week with a co-worker and both of us ordered the pan fried noodles with chicken and teriyaki sauce. the noodles were not pan fried, simply warmed up egg noodles, there was very little teriyaki sauce, which was watery and bland, and there was little chicken on it. when ourserverasked how our meal was i asked if the noodles were pan-fried which i knew they weren't, they said they were, then i said they don't taste fried, they said "sorry" grinned, and walked away. no offer to make it right. anyway, the food tasted horrible, was very expensive for the quality, and theserverwas untrained & uncaring. we could've ate better at any chinese buffet in town for a third of the price and got much better service. this place won't stay open long in ft. wayne unless they make some drastic changes.

food average...management lousy. we had a party of 6 last friday. unfortunately, 2 people ordered glasses of wine which turned out to be more like shots. when theserverwas questioned about the amount of wine served she stated that she had told management that people had been complaining but it didn't change anything. she brought the manager over and he really had a bad attitude.
then we got our order....in this order: entree then appetizer then soup. everything came at virtually the same time. plus the food was at best average.
there are too many good restaurants in ft wayne that give good value. this one will never make it with the current management.

don't look for customer service here!. the whole experience was terrible, from the crazy rude hostess, to our clueless servers and the lousy food. i asked for a glass of plum wine, our waitress said omg what's plum wine? after discovering they did not have plum wine, i ordered a diet pepsi, that took 10 minutes to get to the table. when theserverasked how my soup was and i responded cold, he said "yeah, that's how it is sometimes!" my bento box was lousy, the salad dressing had way to much orange zest in it giving it a bitter taste. my husband enjoyed his sushi, although he left feeling just as hungry as when he came in. it seems they hired a younger, trendier wait staff to give the place an urban feel instead of looking for talented servers, bartenders, hostesses with experience. the whole experience was terrible, i doubt we will return.
