this review is based upon the food alone because the service was pretty poor in general. i don't like to feel rushed and then after being rushed having the food come to the table in bits and pieces.
on the food front everything was great with the exception of the falafel, i found it to be very dry but the flavour was there. dolmades are my all time favourite, i just wish there was a beef option as well but they were very good. the biftekia was undercooked and a little on the bland side. couldn't fault the feta parcels, they had a sweet glaze that went very well with the feta. prawns were delicious, a bit on the small side but great taste. the soudsoukakia was excellent, absolutely delicious!
overall a pleasant meal let down by choppy service.

lovely place with good service unfortunately my pineapple juice was rather off which put me off finishing my meal. my waiter handled it well though offered me another beverage at no cost and was also deeply apologetic about the drink having been off. apart from that my food was good, the prawns fresh swimming in this amazing tomato broth which i soaked up with some warm pita.

i read reviews on mythos before going there and i was already looking forward to a terrible service but great food. and hey, they didn't disappoint in that regard.

the waitress was kind but she was clueless of everything we asked. i knew it was a greek restaurant but i didn't know any greek-staples /traditional meals. i asked her to help me pick a meal and she read out the whole menu to me💔... her greatest convincing line was 'it's nice' . like woah.. that's it? "it's nice"???

lucky for us, the manager was doing his table visit... we asked him and can i tell you, he even told me how they make their baked potatoes and i salivated from his explanation. i think they don't invest in teaching their waiters proper hospitality and that's weighing them down.

either than that, i'd say have that pita bread starter, i promise you'll salivate for every bite. the lamb ribs are amazing!!!!!! most def could go back for those. lamb shank, i've had better but it wasn't bad. the pasta was too quiet for my liking. but overall, their starters are worth calling an "appetizer" .

great food, but terrible waiters.

went in a wednesday afternoon for a late lunch. our waiter was not the most attentive though the restaurant was not full to capacity. i thoroughly enjoyed the drinks. my date had a wrap and i had the prawns. the food was fresh and well prepared. just hoping for a more attentive waiter next time.

food is authentic greek and very tasty. we had the vegetarian meze platter and the chicken livers, all very tasty and generous portions. service was unfortunately frustratingly slow, otherwise i would have scored this higher.

i've thoroughly enjoyed every time i go to this restaurant. the staff are extremely friendly, helpful and respectful, the food is awesome and their deserts are amazing. the ambience is very relaxed but also a little homey with the subtle lighting and you get a very happy feel when you sit. definitely recommend it to all people.

dinner here is sooo amazing and especially on a thursday coz it's greek night and you get to break plates and go dancing along with the music which i find really cool hey..
i had the calamari which is done to perfection and the service is on point hey. would definitely be coming back here for more greek experiences

what a bad experience.  on friday 03 september 2016 my husband order salad.  when food arrived we were still waiting for his salad.  he also ordered some sause with his food.  he was almost finished eating when sause arrived.  very very bad service.  i told the lady who was standing in front waiting for customers. but all she did was smiling the whole time and said ok ok while i was complaining

mythos never fail to impress! good service and amazing food! prawn pasta the best it can get and their wraps consistently fresh and flavourful. generous portions and good value for money!

excellent service. our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable. they accomadated my plant based diet, i had dolmades with hummus instead of yoghurt, they were out of falafels so i asked for an alternative , mushroom and spinach wrap with hummus and tomato and onion. it was delicious!

absolutely wonderful meal! some of the starter was over seasoned, but overall a pleasant and enjoyable evening! we will definitely be back for more!

terrible! ordered the sole. it tastes a bit funny, the waitress just apologised and left it at that. i tried to eat it, thinking maybe it was my imagination. soon realised it really didn't taste right. i called the manager, vincent, who took it back to the kitchen to discuss with the chef. he came back and informed me that they also thought it tasted funny and that the chef said it tasted old. i was told they order itnin 5kg bixes and it could've gotten old from standing around too long. it was taken off the bill but still not a nice experience and not what i expected from this restaurant. still hoping i dont get sick from eating it 😕 the rest of the party had hake and chips which was fine. they need better quality control as old fish is really unpleasant and dangerous to serve!

the vibe first of all was really great and my girlfriend and i were having a pretty good time til the food arrived. she got a meal she hadn't ordered and she had to wait about 20 minutes for her correct order to come and when it did it wasn't done the way she had asked. the waiter was very argumentative, wasn't helpful at all. when we had to pay the speed point had issues coz they ended up charging twice even when i showed him the text message from my bank showing the transaction had indeed gone through but he insisted on swiping my card again because apparently "that happens quite often" so he swiped again. they said they would refund me but i had to bring a stamped bank statement so i did and drove back there twice because the first time the manager wasn't around but in the end i got my refund. :-(

great atmosphere. greek food is my favourite and i'm so glad this restaurant didn't disappoint. it's one of my favourite restaurants in brooklyn.

had a birthday dinner for my wife tonight at this lovely venue. the food was pleasantly good and the service was made to match. we broke a few plates and they made her night special so that was a plus. the quality of the food is constant and if your in the mood for good greek food look no further
