after reading great reviews i decided to order today. by far the bestindiantakeaway we have had here. food arrived ahead of time and piping hot. the naan bread alone was so soft & tasty, again the best we have had. highly recommend

i had been to mynt several times before for dining in, bringing friends, and it never disappointed.

so last week i wanted to try takeout for iftar. so i called the restaurant, and to my rescue was the food industry veteran and mynt owner, mr. rudy. after explaining our requirements, he suggested a customized and balanced order for us (thanks to his sharp memory remembering our previous visits, and thanks to his vast knowledge of the variousindiancuisines and typical customization).

when i picked up the food, which was ready on time, my entertainer app crashed and so i wasn't able to avail the discount. mr. rudy was kind to offer me a direct discount to my relief.

we started the iftar with the almond chicken soup, and what a pleasant surprise! the soup alone would have sufficed to quench all my iftar cravings: creamy, aromatically mild-spiced with soft chicken breast chunks.

next we had punjabi samosa. we also found out that the owner left us a complimenary aloo chaat! lovely gesture with those appetizing starters.

for mains, i had chicken delight curry (yes the name is on point). it was a creamy nut-based curry with aromatic spices, gentle on the stomach, but pleasantly filling. my friend had gosht kada masala and loved it.

we complemented those dishes with white rice as well as plain and butter naans. and for drinks, we had some of our favorites: p&p (pineapple and pomegranate), and mango passion fruit mocktail. very refreshing.

highly recommend this place. after trying most of the big names in abu dhabi servingindianfood over the years, mynt has become my favorite place. amazing quality for the price :)

cosy interior, lip smacking jhingha poppers, succulent chicken biryani and their mocktails are quiet tasty too!

🚫this restaurant has been the biggest disappointment for me when it comes to the taste ofindianfood.

i visited the restaurant to celebrate my parents special day and they spoilt it by giving us tasteless food.

following is what we ordered, pls never ever order or visit if you are a vegetarian:

❌paneer tikka- literally never since such bad tikka which does not deserved to be called tikka.

❌paneer do pyaza- literal translation, two pieces of paneer and a whole lot of chunks of onion

❌veg biryani- the worst ever, served some flavorless yellow colluded low quality rice with vegetable gravy beneath it.

❌veg jalfrezi- terrible mix of some veggies in tomato onion gravy

❌tomato soup- not sure what it was, the bred inside was very chewy

✅only saving grace was laccha parantha.

❌garlic naan seemed like it was painted white with asian paints

overall two people were running around and serving all the tables❗️

would not recommend this restaurant ever!

one of the bestindianfood in the abu dhabi city.
reasonable quantity with good taste. the mock tails are the best in here. friendly and responsive staff. even though it’s less spacious, the interior is really attractive with blue and black color combinations.

forever my favoriteindianrestaurant in abu dhabi and the uae. it’s always a pleasure to meet the owner and manager when we visit. the staff are extremely nice. the place is cozy and clean. but the food? it’s just superior. every dish i’ve tried is perfect. be it the chicken butter, tikka masala, biryani, chaat, pakora, and even the nan. i’ve been going to mynt for years and the quality never changed. such a lovely restaurant.

mynt is a small cozyindiancuisine restaurant on salam street with a warm ambience. the mango passion fruit drink is a sure hit and a must try. the gunpowder murg is boneless chicken pieces coated with tomato sauce, a variation to chicken tikka. the mynt special vegetarian tandoori platter includes tandoori mushrooms, tandoori gobi, tandoori brocoli and punjabi samosa which are tasty.

mutton biryani nowhere tasted like biryani but we relished it as a variation for a change.
on our second visit, we ordered mynt special veg platter and dal makhani.
the staff was very courteous particularly basant and saraswati who were very prompt to pay personal attention.

good place to spend an evening with your family and friends.

we were a group of 5 people visiting for lunch. the ambience is nice and is the place is well maintained.
with mocktails they served a variety of papad and chutney, pickle.
for starters, we tried gun power murg (spicy), murg malai tikka & chatpata aloo tikki. the chicken starters were delicious ( caution : gun power murg is spicy, do let them know ur preference of spiciness while ordering). the aloo tikki is basically chat, with tikkis and chana, tastes good.
for main course, we tired paneer do pyaza, kolhapuri chicken curry and gosh khada masala.paneer was soft and flavorful , gosht masala was delicious but kolhapuri chicken was nothing like kolhapuri style, it tasted like northindianstyled curry, which was not bad.
