we ordered chickenbiryaniand it came on time, everything went well. its just that the test was not as good as expected. quantity was enough for 2 people. i guess there is a scope of improvement.

this was the first time that the ratings did not match the food expectations at all. we went in for a lunch and had a very bland experience. we ordered tandoori jinga (72 dhs for 5 small pieces of prawns. outrageous and bland! they advertised jumbo prawns but we definitely didn’t get that), gosht seek kabab (ok, can be skipped), goan fish curry (great), jhinga dumbiryani(this was not biryani) and gosht dumbiryani(disappointment). atleast the ras malai was acceptable.

indian cuisine is always close to our hearts and here we were at @mynt abu dhabi where we enjoyed a soulful meal of naan, tandoori, biryani, curries and not to forget some lassi and our favourite rasmalai.

our order included:
starters:
- tandoori murgh / murgh malai tikka mix (chunks of well marinated chicken all well done to perfection)
mains :
- jhingha dumbiryani(long grained aromatic rice, with generous amount of prawns, dum cooked)
. ghosh khada masala (thick gravy with good amount of juicy mutton, perfectly spiced)
- murgh makhani (authentic gravy with lot of meat pieces)
drinks :
- sweet lassi (sweetened lassi, good quantity)
desserts :
- ras malai (wow in taste and lovely presentation)
.
recommended: daab chingri (thick gravy presented in a coconut)
.
.
overall rating: 5/5 for:
- food was authentic and well presented
- quantity is great
- professional and friendly staff
- superb ambience
- sop's in place.

our server saraswati took our order and the entire order was well executed.....she and the rest of the staff made our experience here a memorable one!

mynt is a small cozy indian cuisine restaurant on salam street with a warm ambience. the mango passion fruit drink is a sure hit and a must try. the gunpowder murg is boneless chicken pieces coated with tomato sauce, a variation to chicken tikka. the mynt special vegetarian tandoori platter includes tandoori mushrooms, tandoori gobi, tandoori brocoli and punjabi samosa which are tasty.

muttonbiryaninowhere tasted likebiryanibut we relished it as a variation for a change.
on our second visit, we ordered mynt special veg platter and dal makhani.
the staff was very courteous particularly basant and saraswati who were very prompt to pay personal attention.

good place to spend an evening with your family and friends.

ooncha makaan phika pakwaan. that exactly sums up my experience. if you aren't an asian then avoid this place. everything is bland and spiceles. tried thier starter gun powder chicken which i have no clue why it was named after the most famous gun powder from andhra and tamil region when it has no resemblance to the spice. chicken kolhapuri has nothing to do with the name or the region. now that i think of every item named has absolutely nothing to do with it's name. pure illusion. wait till i get to thier "muttonbiryani" i would rather have myself stuffed with masalas and rice and meat and put myself on dum and will end up with a better biryani. kindly stop this mockery of emotions over spices.

so i visited this place as i found it on entertainer, first things first, the decor was lovely, i had the passion fruit mango mocktail and fell in love with it, one of the best i have had ever, thn came the jumbo prawns, and i loved loved it, i will be going back just for it, the mutton khada masala was pretty great too, was awesome with their naan, the chickenbiryaniwas pretty average, the mixed grill was good , i liked almost everything except the fish, the fish was fishy, coming to the price factor, everything is rated on the higher side as the portion is pretty small, but with the entertainer it was worth it, all in all i liked the place and will be going back for the jumbo prawns and the passion fruit mango mocktail

mynt is a cozy small restaurant with pretty interiors.
we ordered gun powder chicken for starters. the chicken was nice. but definitely lacked the flavour of gun powder.

for mains we ordered chicken tikka masala and garlic naan with a portion ofbiryanirice. chicken tikka masala was delicious. the flavour of garlic naan was perfect.biryanirice is rice flavoured with spices. it went well with chicken tikka.

overall, recommended for a nice lunch/dinner.
