found our new favorite restaurant!. amazing food! great service! perfect for a nice date night or an outing with tons of crazy kids & loud friends!! words can't even explain how wonderful mama mamu & papa jun are. the entirestaffwas friendly. our server angela was patient, helpful and gave great recommendations. our new favorite restaurant.

everything was delicious! best ramen since japan! and definitely reminded us of food in san diego.

fantastic!!. after visiting myles and jun yakitori for the 2nd time in a week, i have to say that i love it! the yakitori is delicious! different meats grilled over a japanese grill to perfection. the chicken thighs in peanut sauce and the wagyu are simply the best. the service andstaffare amazing. my 7 year old is in love with all of them & ms. myles is one of the sweetest women you will meet. she wants nothing but the best food and experience for you. she goes above and beyond for her customers. i can not recommend this restaurant enough!!!

i have been wanting to try this place for awhile; but i am usually here during the middle of the day. glad i waited until they opened. i had the chicken yakitori and the kalbi. each was better than the last. amazingstaffand i will be back!!

what?  no 10 for this place??  i can't say enough about our visit here.  we went for my birthday dinner, there was four of us girls and it was one of the best dining experiences i've had in ages.  m&j is in and older building in summerville, but once you walk inside it feels very welcoming and cozy.  thestaffis very attentive and the owner is there to keep you entertained!  we started with a sample of the house made sake sangaria, which forced us to order a carafe.  it was fruity and light without the slightest hint of sake.  makes that stuff dangerous.  we ordered several things from the menu to share.  lobster rice ball, crispy pork belly, and asparagus beef rolls started us off.  each was better than the other.  for our main courses we had yokohama squid salad, soft shell crab, chicken hibachi and i had a few of the yakatori choices shrimp, chicken and bacon wrapped quail eggs.  we could not stop raving over all of our choices, plates and forks were passed all around the table.  they have an amazing house made rice, sun dried tomato garlic butter.  it was phenomenal!  the evening was rounded off by the owner bringing out a decadent dessert and singing happy birthday to me.  it was quite the experience and i can't wait to go back!

i went last night and it was a great change from the norm run down hibachi place. the food was fabulous. gyoza was tasty, i got one of the udon soups which was delicious and my husband got the grilled squid. while thestaffwas very attentive and friendly sometimes it was too much to the point that our conversations were being interrupted. other than that it was great all around. we'll be back!

amazing food, service, ambiance. celebrated my sons 22nd birthday here tonight, this is a wonderful and amazing restaurant that will keep us coming back for more.thestaffis friendly, warm and inviting. the food was beyond belief. four for dinner and everyone was so happy with all the courses. myles, in her beautiful style and with her gifted vocals sang a sweet rendition of happy birthday to my son and made the night so very special. loved loved loved everything. will be back soon. we are lucky to have such a great place right here in summerville. will not disappoint. :)

truck stops have better food and more class. truck stop atmosphere. waitstaffliterally dressed in matching hoochie dresses. service was erratic. food had little flavor and what there was was slightly strange. it was edible thank god. at the prices i would have been pissed to leave hungry. japanese it was not. i've traveled to japan and this was denny's with teriyaki sauce. they must write there own reviews because no one honestly gets all 5 stars just because the girls dress trashy. if you want to pay too much for edible food just to thick girls in skimpy dresses then this is the spot for you.

best place in the low country. i have been here the past two nights and everything has been amazing. amazing food, amazingstaffand all around amazing atmosphere. give them a 6 star rating. you will not be disappointed with anything ( my favorite nabayaki udon) and their ginger dressing with that amazing clear coup and saki sangria ! the amazing food selection is endless !

my new favorite place. i have been here the past two nights and everything has been amazing. amazing food, amazingstaffand all around amazing atmosphere. give them a 6 star rating. you will not be disappointed with anything. its phenomenal !!

finally, an awesome restaurant close to home! food and service were both perfect!!staffmakes you feel like they have known you forever. i could eat their sundried tomato rice and white sauce every day!

amazing. this place exceeded all of our expectations. i have never been in a place where thestaffmade you feel so welcome. the food was amazing and the server and owner were very friendly and took the time to learn our names and i'm 100% they will remember them the next time we come in. and there will certainly be a next time.

this place is fantastic! there are many different selections and varieties of entrees and after trying many they were all wonderful. this is just what summerville needed.staffis exceptional!

my husband and i just happened to go while looking for a meal out , in town. what an incredible surprise and delight. we had always enjoyed prizzi's ( prior incarnation as a family pizza place) and new that jun and myles were incredible restraunters but were in no way prepared for the incredibly meal , fabulous new interior , and impeccable service. thestafffrom owner to server we're so excited to educate you on the style of eating, offer various samples of foods and wines. in a town like charleston, known for its culinary prowess, there is no reason to look farther than this new addition to summerville. everything you could want from a dining experience is there, interesting dishes, elegant presentation , fresh and some rare ingredients , brought together with service and environment. do not wait.
