the restaurant was great but i didnt really like the bar side
we went here as a couple on a saturday night, everything we had was really delicious to be honest, great starters a delicious meal and an amazing selection of extraordinary wines. our waiter was also terrific, so polite. this is rare in istanbul as for some reason waiters ingoodrestaurants act like they own the place or something so having agoodservice is special. we went there quite early as they only had a table available between 6pm and 9pm. we arrived, ate, and around 9pm the waiter politely invited us to the bar where we could finish our wine and have more drinks.
the waiters in the bar section i thought were not well trained and the quality of service just dropped. i mean it would be ok under normal circumstances in a bar not to expectgoodservice but this is supposed to be a top notch restaurant so i don't think they should be able to afford to have poor service.
i mean i had agoodexperience overall and i would recommend anyone to go and try it out but i don't think it will be a restaurant i personally would revisit. unfortunately this is an issue in istanbul as there are many signature restaurants that are unable to maintain agoodquality service and well trained personnel.
