i had made a reservation for 9 people over the phone. i inquired with the man who answered if we needed to make the reservation for a certain time to take advantage of their one price special for hibatchi and sushi for $26.99. he told me no that our reservation time was fine for the special. we were told when we arrived that they were not honoring the special that week. i looked on the website and the special is still on there as a valid special. our server asked themanagerwho refused to honor the special. themanagersaid they forgot to take it off the website but they would not honor the special. i feel that this falls into false advertising if they can take away the special at any given moment even though they are still actively advertising the special on their website. beware if you are trying to take advantage of any of the specials they have advertised on their website.

the worst dining experience i've had in texas. the unpleasant experience began by being told there would be a 10-15 wait. after 30 minutes and sitting there looking at open tables i again inquired about seating as we wanted to eat from the kitchen and not participate in the hibachi grill. finally seated it was another 30 minutes to get our order in. the food then took another 30-45 minutes to arrive. some in our parties orders were incorrect and some of the food was cold. i made the mistake of mentioning this to themanagerat which time i was told i was incorrect and was basically scolded. when leaving the place i stopped by themanagerto discuss my displeasure and she was still being rude so i opted to just leave. this is when it got interesting. she begins to raise her voice and block me from leaving. she is going on about how i have not paid my bill and she will not let me leave. i directed her to check our table and she would find the bill paid in full. this is the first time in my life i have paid to receive bad service, incorrect orders of bad food at a restaurant and to top it off be embarrassed by themanagermaking a scene. overall a very unpleasant experience for my family and friends.

on sunday, january 12, 2016, my family and i dined in your restaurant. sadly, this was the second time our experience as a family has been awful. it seems when a couple goes in to dine, as my parents often do, the service is fine, but when a large party comes in to dine the party size is too large to deal with (we were a party of 9). what makes matters worse is that i called to speak with amanageron monday and i am still waiting to hear back from them. the server on the phone was condescending and shifted blame for the lack of service because we ordered the $25 all you can eat special. the total bill was over $325 and i would like to state that multiple members of our party did not order excessively but actually quite modestly (my niece only eats chicken and rice and we still happily paid the $25 cover as the rules state). first, if the staff or the restaurant does not want to cater to people who order this special for their own reasons then such special should not be offered. the complaint we have is not about the price but for the lack of service including not taking people’s beverage orders (people in my family drink alcohol), un-timely appetizer order, food was served cold and over cooked and when my brother arrived he was not greeted for over 15 minutes. when i sent back my over cooked tuna the server looked at me like i was crazy. i ordered some steak instead, which took an extremely long time to come out and was again over cooked. 

my family was celebrating my graduation and we wanted to have a nice dinner. the time we spent with one another was nice, but the service was lacking and repeating a similar experience we had last year. we will not be returning to your restaurant. to anyone reading this, there is a new hibachi grill which just opened by the kroger next to lantana. i would suggest giving them your business, as mt fuji seems to be unappreciative to patrons. as a person who has worked in multiple restaurants and has bartended i say shame on you. shame on your staff for trying to make my family feel the lack of good food and service was because we ordered off of a special the restaurant offers but the staff is obviously against.

ridiculous.. i just got off a flight home, i had ate before the flight so wasn't too hungry, but decided to stop with family and get food anyways that i could eat later. i only have a few bites and asked for a to go box and the lady refused and said that was not allowed and dumped my entire meal into the trash. this place is pretty expensive to dump my whole meal into the trash. i immediately asked for themanagerand after waiting about 10 minutes themanagernever showed up so we left. i do not recommend this place to anyone. this is ridiculous that i paid for my food and was not allowed to eat it later.

horrible...bad customer service...1st and last time..i will go. i ordered apple martini...didn't like it...i rarely drink so when i do it's an apple martini. my sis finally said you are not drinking..i said it's not good...she said send back...finally about 20 min. our server comes back (ironically early other customer complained to her that she forgot about them) so i tell her i didn't like drink and would order something else...themanagercomes to my table and said i had this drink over 30 minutes and didn't say anything..i said well you can tell i didn't drink any of it...and i have waited for our server to come check on us...manager literally was trying to argue with me. i said you should not argue w/customers....so what would have been s 20 percent tip on a $70 bill was .... minus the cost of the untouched apple martini...i will stick w/kobe or jenbei

have been to this place many times. the food is good for the most part....not the best. the service has always been terrible, however. today was the last time i will go though. my wife and i went for lunch she wanted to order off the regular menu and i wanted to do their all you can eat sushi special. we were told that everyone at the table had to order from the same menu spoke to amanagerwho was very rude the waitress was rude as well. i have been an apologist for this place due to the food and drink specials however after the way we were treated today they will never see another dollar of mine.

absolutely terrible.. a friend and i went to dinner at mt. fuji this evening, and it was forgettable to say the least. the food was so/so, but that was nothing compared to the atrocious customer service i experienced. our waiter charged my card for another tables pricey tab, but told me that i wouldn't have any charges from it. not the case. i was charged $60 for a meal that i didn't have, on top of my already existing tab. when i went to confront the situation, i was met stubbornly by the staff and didn't receive even a simple apology. upon inquiring as to when a generalmanagerwould be available to speak with, i was told to call back in three days and was told he might not actually be there. a restaurant (that is freshly opened at that) which does not take customer complaints seriously, is not a restaurant that is worth going to. all in all, i have received better customer service from fast food restaurants. for your sake, do not waste your time.

good food, poor service. a group of us went to dine at mt. fuji last evening with great expectations, one of our party had eaten there and reported the food was very good. loved the decor, the music was a little loud for our table to visit but the chef was fun and our food was excellent. the portions aren't large but were enough for our group of ladies. cindy was our server and not very attentive, we waited to have our water refilled, she splashed wine on me while serving and was impartient with us while we asked questions about the menu. when the bill came, 1 bill, we told her that we would figure out how to split it up, she stood right over us and waited impatiently, we finally told her we would get to her and she stepped back, only a little bit. some of our party paid in cash and some of us used our credit cards so that the cash tips were in there but the credit card tips hadn't been added yet. i guess she thought that was her entire tip as she was observed slamming the bill book on the front desk, then came back and slapped it in front of my friend and said, :"there, that is all that is left". by the time the rest of us tipped and signed our cc receipts, her tip was 20%, i guess she didn't feel this was sufficient. when i called today to voice my concern at her rudeness, i was told to hold while the person who answered the phone went to get the manager, then told there was nomanagerthere and that the owner said to "call back tomorrow". i stated i would be glad to speak to the owner but then was told that he was busy on the computer. i said "really, he doesn't want to talk to me about my concerns" to which she said "call back tomorrow, between 2 and 4. wow, with all the good restaurants in the dallas area, i don't know how they think this kind of customer service is acceptable.

this is going to be a great choice in fm. food was great. service was great. it was extremely busy last night and they have some bugs to work out. also the front desk was disorganized and can work on service. the habachi chef john was awesome. i spoke to brent themanagerand i think he appreciated my feed back. we will be back!

ordered a glass of pinot said they were out so i sugeested that they consider pouring a glass of the mcmurray (still a grocery store caliber wine at best)managersaid no "do you expect me to pour the rest of the bottle out". so they are 86'd on a wine and offer no pinot option by the glass. i am in the business and am shocked at such poor customer service and lack of service culture. need to seriously address guest service delivery. left and went to patrizo where they bent over backwards to take care of me. not a good start unfortunately

terrible experience - exceptionally rude front deskmanager- would not recommend - you would think that they would insist on some reding or perhaps experience - clearly both were lacking - take your disposal income somewhere else where it might be valued
