sat upstairs with a magnificent view of the bay . ordered a few tapas and some wine for lunch. the tapas were all above average in their own right . the price was reasonable and we walked out of there quite full and satisfied.

the ambiance is really lovely but service was appalling. i ordered boiled egg and toast. i wanted an extra egg which i was charged $7.50! i received two eggs and three strips of toast. so i figured i was charged $7.50 just for the egg! if i had ordered just one egg, i wondered how much toast i would have gotten probably just one slice. we asked for done water and after 10 mins, we got our own. we asked for cutlery when our order came and the waitress ignored our request and not only didn’t bring anything, but stood behind the counter talking to other staff members. so we got them ourselves. will definitely not be visiting this place again which is a shame given the location.

this place is a joke. i said i was allergic to lemon and they brought out my saganaki with a giant lemon. once we ordered we waited for 15 minutes to be told that what we ordered was no longer available then we ordered something else another 15 minutes passed and another waiter comes to tell us we couldn’t order that either. then once we ordered meals that were actually available we had to wait for over an hour for mini burgers and corn chips with toppings. when leaving they had the audacity to charge us for the food that we didn’t even get. seriously if you can’t keep up with food don’t serve it. we all work hard and want to enjoy the holidays and it’s one thing for a meal to take time it’s another to no have good customer service. very disappointing!

this was my favorite restaurant in mount martha until today. i was happily sat drinking a cup of tea and awaiting a bowl of soup when a waitress asked me to move tables to accommodate a larger party. although not altogether happy to do so i reluctantly agree. the table i was moved to was tiny and stuffed into the far corner and the chair only big enough for a child. as i had gone there to relax and read a book after a hard week i decided against staying because i was far from comfortable.i then went to front, happy to pay and made no complaint. i was then informed by the manager/owner that 'this was not the place for me' and that i had 'done his before'. actually i go there most weekends with my son for brunch as well as during the week for client meetings and have never been asked to move. i have been a regular there for two years and have never been treated with such utter disrespect in my life. i have always found the food to be excellent and waiting staff wonderful. i even called them two weeks ago to see if they would like to provide some corporate catering for a meeting we were having, which they couldn't do; no problem. i would appreciate an explanation please and an example of any time when i have previously complained or asked to be moved.

a good selection of very tasty food. some are more my cup of tea than others but at the end of the day. all delicious and great location overlooking the ocean whilst having a meal. this is is a good hangout spot whilst in the area for breakfast

what a beautiful little peaceful place to watch the world go by from the balcony whilst basking in the winter sunshine ☀️ the staff were so welcoming and friendly . the coffee was spot on and the food was well presented and bursting with flavour .thanks for having us 👍🏻

the venue is unique with a great view.
coffee was ok. the food was also quite nice. the service however, on this particular morning was poor. we waited for over an hour for two dishes, it did appear that they were under staffed or something had gone wrong somewhere. when we left there was no apology or anything. what a shame....
not sure i'd return, but based on other reviews i'm sure this was just a once off

views are really nice. the staff were pleasant and it was quite when we visited. they didn't have much of the desert's on the menu. i ordered a long black but unfortunately received an espresso with boiling water that i didn't feel like drinking.

hidden away in the strip of shops, but glad we found it. very cosy place inside and there is also an outside option that over looks the beach, which is an amazing way to start your day.

staff were great. super friendly and attentive from the get go.
surpringlsy tiny kitchen with one woman working overtime to get all the food out, which is impressive on its own.

coffee was good. not melbourne standard, but close. food was very nice, probably the most interesting menu we came across while on the peninsula.

highly recommended for anyone around the area. enjoy!

amazing view, mexican beef was delicious! although it was quite a wait for food, the food was all great!!! great for big groups and the seating outside is perfect for a sunny day!

awesome little spot for an afternoon wine and some nibbles. we got the hommas & flatbread. big serving for what i thought was just some small tapas so i was very impressed. lovely wine list and perfect views on the balcony for the sunset

the staff were super friendly! helped me pick the right wine. amazing view. super chill. very nice quality food, worth the price. :) would come back again!

i have been here twice now and have been disappointed on both occasions. while the restaurant has the best views in mt martha, the service is painstakingly slow.

the first time i tried to have lunch they were sold out of all vegetarian options and were unable to offer any alternatives.

the second time we waited over an hour for our meal only to then have the staff come and tell us they had run out of prawns. my meal came another 15 minutes after that and was a turkish pizza that was undercooked. i also find the food pretty overpriced for the quality you actually get.

my score is really for the views and views only.

great place for exotic foods. had lunch with wife, daughter and mother in-law. the steep steps were a bit of a struggle for the mother in-law but she commented that it was well worth it.
the plates weren't big but it i reckon they were just right, and quite filling.
the bean and chorizo was awesome with the turkish bread.
while the blt would by my next preference (mother in-law only had half, too much for her).
the mushroom and feta/humus was also great with very large and succulent mushrooms.
great views and wonderful service, will definitely return to try out the rest of their menu.

cosy place with good decor. liked the soup of the day and the coffee, but i'm left wondering why its rating is so high (4.2 as of writing).
views are excellent and prices are fair too but no one on the table raved about their dish.
note that the location on the first floor means two flights of stairs up to reach the cafe.
