first of all after standing for 10 mins waiting to be seated we were told that we were to be eating upstairs at the heron room because a lack of reservations. we had the 7 course discovery plates for $75 each. about 3 of the 7 were passable with a goose plate being fairly good as an entrée. the other 4 plates were terrible. one clearly having canned tiny shrimp, another with a single piece of cheese with vodka jelly that tasted like saliva and worst of all was the desert. a deconstructed carrot cake that i can describe as carrot babyfoodwith stale cubes of yellow cake that had the consistence of croutons. on top of all this it took 3 hours and the staff seemed to know nothing about thefoodand often omitted any sort of description. considering it was discovery and we didn't order the plates this made it all that much more confusing when we received such odd tasting and looking food.
