moro gelato

i was so happy to finally findicecream that i love. all the most recently named besticecream places have disappointed me. moro though was delicious and creamy and just love the wafer and the runny chocolate on top. the staff are warm and friendly. can't wait to go back!

lovely gelato! the pistachio flavor is really good. the interior is beautiful but there isn’t much space on the inside to enjoy youricecream.

never had before kindaicecream 🍦 fell in love instantly. wish quantity was little more for the money we spent. if ever plan for a franchise in india, remember me. i am in.

"amazing" is the only way to describe the experience!🙂🙂

1. the decor is amazing! with a very classy and old school look to the golden lids, the look of the place really adds to the experience!😍

2. the menu is amazing! they only have 5 options of each type oficecream (gelato, sorbet,icecream) but the options are very diverse and done well, there were no bad flavours!😋😋

3. the prices are very reasonable for what you get, and theicecream itself comes with a chocolate dipped wafer which i wish they had a whole bag of for sale on it's own!😢😢

by far the creamiest gelato/sorbet/ice cream i've ever had and the flavours are strong but very well balanced!

nestled in the heart of long street, this littleicecream parlor is a treat for anyone who would have a sweet tooth. such a wide variety of rich flavors and good customers service, the waffle biscuits are the best part haha!

there’s a reason why this place has a queue! wow the gelato and sorbet are next level here. you’d think you’re in florence!

love that you can pick 2 flavours with the small cups. love that it’s unusual flavours. love that they stick a round wafer freshly drizzled in chocolate goodness in youricecream. just love!

i had the halva gelato with the granadilla sorbet. my brother had the pistachio gelato with the grapefruit and mint sorbet. the halva has hints of middle eastern sesame dessert vibes to it. the sorbets were super refreshing. that grapefruit sorbet would make the perfect palate cleanser between a multi course meal. super tart! but so refreshing!

wow absolutely love this place! besticecream in cape town, i had the tiramisu and belgian chocolate, my husband had the belgian chocolate and rooibos. all flavors were delicious. can't wait to return 😍

this is literally the fanciesticecream shop i’ve been to, what a lovely experience. everything just looks expensive😂 but also very inviting.

there’s a variety of flavors to choose from, slightly overwhelming but the waiter is really helpful and will guide you through it.

they have vegan flavors too!!! but not too many savory flavors so if you have a sweet tooth, this is your heaven. and besides it looking expensive, it is actually quite reasonably priced. definitely visiting again

i popped into this spot quite late after having dinner down the road. i was unaware it even existed until i had heard of it a few days prior to visiting. the interior of the shop is beautifully designed and decorated - very sophisticated and lavish. you definitely get the feeling that you’re in a little gelateria in italy somewhere (if you ignore the chaos and noise of long street right outside). the 2 employees behind the counter were so friendly and helpful - they remained very patient with my indecisiveness over which 3 flavours to choose! i ended up going with the chocolate, pistachio and milk tart. they were all beautifully decadent and delicious! the only ‘complaint’ i have is that there just wasn’t enough of it - it was too tasty to be gone that quickly. the chocolate dipped wafer is also a lovely touch. another downside is that you can’t get theicecream in a proper-sized cone. other than that, i’d definitely recommend a visit to moro gelato. but good luck, because choosing flavours won’t be easy!

theicecream was delicious. definitely one of the best in cape town. decently priced as well (surprisingly). the strawberry sorbet tasted almost like a daiquiri! the staff create an awesome atmosphere that makes you wanna come back.

i hardly ever give a 5 star rating but you have to give it where it’s due.
the place is pretty, the staff is engaging and friendly and theiricecream is really the best in town without a doubt. my partner and i went slightly overboard in buying 5 scoops, a milkshake , extra wafers and cone shots.
pistachio was my fav and the jam on toast. their salted caramel was nice too and best part of theiricecream was that it wasn’t too sweet so you could eat and eat and eat more.
their wafers are something from another planet with the dripping chocolate over it, i had 3 while eating myicecream and it only comes with 1. i do wish they had waffles though.
great part about this place is they also have loyalty cards, i can’t wait to go back.

you have to try it... they're sublime. eachicecream tastes like it's namesake. the servers know their product well and can suggest interesting combinations.
