without a doubt the best gelato i have had the pleasure to eat....wish u guys could open one in johannesburg.gilmore was a superb host and so helpful and patient with our kids...would def come tocapetown again just for moro😋

"amazing" is the only way to describe the experience!🙂🙂

1. the decor is amazing! with a very classy and old school look to the golden lids, the look of the place really adds to the experience!😍

2. the menu is amazing! they only have 5 options of each type of ice cream (gelato, sorbet, ice cream) but the options are very diverse and done well, there were no bad flavours!😋😋

3. the prices are very reasonable for what you get, and the ice cream itself comes with a chocolate dipped wafer which i wish they had a whole bag of for sale on it's own!😢😢

by far the creamiest gelato/sorbet/ice cream i've ever had and the flavours are strong but very well balanced!

ps. this is after trying 2 other highly rated ice cream places on the same night😂

staff was super friendly and welcoming. they allow you to taste 2 flavours before you decide. 50 for medium size you can choose up to 3 flavours. the gelato were very creamy and rich.definitely will come back next time when i’m incapetown.

wow absolutely love this place! best ice cream incapetown, i had the tiramisu and belgian chocolate, my husband had the belgian chocolate and rooibos. all flavors were delicious. can't wait to return 😍

this place deserves a five as they serve the best gelato incapetown.
i simply love the decor of the store and the service is friendly and competent.i enjoyed the marchese and pistachio flavor, which was amazing..definitely going back soon for my next fix!

the best ice-cream in sa! i had pistachio and tiramisu ice-cream and hazelnut sorbet, they were to die for!! definitely recommend it if you’re incapetown.

this is the most amazing gelato place incapetown. first: real gelato ! i appreciate the seasonal changes in flavor, the amazing and smiling staffs, the extra small waffle with its decadent chocolate which is like the cherry on top of the cake.  finally, the pricing is decent. treat yourself with nocciola. it's so sad this doesn't have (yet ?) a lovely place to seat with your cone or cup !

the ice cream was delicious. definitely one of the best incapetown. decently priced as well (surprisingly). the strawberry sorbet tasted almost like a daiquiri! the staff create an awesome atmosphere that makes you wanna come back.

disclaimer: i have not been to the actual store in town. but have tried the ice-cream at a restaurant that sells it so my review is solely based on the ice-cream itself as i cannot comment on the ice-cream shops service.

i had moro gelato for dessert. the hoghouse in pinelands sells moro gelato ice-cream. this is clearly stated on the blackboard along with the flavours of the day. we chose to share a scoop of the chocolate flavour which was all kinds of yum! the ice-cream is creamy, smooth, rich and well balanced with just the right amount of sweetness. the decadence of the chocolate shone through. this place serves one of the best (i would even go as far as saying the best) gelato incapetown. need to mission to town and pay a visit to the actual store, only this time i definitely won't be sharing!

the best ice cream incapetown! moro offers a range of classic and "experimental" flavours. they use fresh and high quality ingredients and you can really taste it. i tried many of the flavours they had on offer and they were all incredible. i must recommend the chocolate and toast & jam. just yum! also, you are given a complimentary wafer drowned in melted chocolate - a delicious touch.

best ice cream incapetown! delicious and creamy with a selection of the usual suspects like belgian chocolate, vanilla and milk and cream; and unique flavors like pinocchio (pine nut) and tiramisu. delightfully friendly owners willing to give a taste before you order. what a gem of a find!

absolutely my favorite shop for italian ice-cream. in my opinion they are the only one incapetown true to the artisanal italian tradition . they use real and seasonal ingredients , no colorants or funny stuff. a must try are their chocolate , pistacchio and marchese. very friendly and helpful staff. they even have vegan gelato (sorbetti) just as creamy as the milky ones. well done!!
