by far the best gelato that i've ever had, we tried it last week then went back 3 more times it was that good! every flavour is incredible and the service is worth the trip alone, i cannot recommend it enough!

italian owner = italian gelato 😍
artisan gelato made fresh every week or so!
the lemon sorbet is as good as the one i had in rome! i'll give top points to the tiramisu flavour, it's basically a real tiramisu in a little cup!!!
excited to try some of their new vegan friendly options, dark chocolate sorbet mmmmm can't wait for next week!

ps the pistachio is excellent too! and from imported nuts, blended with a very specific machine!

the best gelato in cape town! super friendly staff who let us try different flavours before deciding. highly recommend a visit to moro gelato during your stay.

gelato and sorbet has never tasted this good! 😰😍🍦 the variety of flavours will leave you standing there for an hour deciding. thank goodness they have such friendly and helpful staff to assist you with these decisions. 😂 would highly recommend a trip here if you in the area. 😉 and yes, that is a chocolate fountain where your complementary wafer is dipped into. 👌🙋💯

i've always walked past this cute gelato stand at the granger bay market, but never tried it..until today! besides their shop in long street, they have a gelato trolley, that is really difficult to miss. pastel colours, with gold covers, it's really so beautifully displayed. i opted for the pomegranate sorbet in a sugar cone, which was honestly, some of the most refreshing scoops i've tried, and really not pricey at all. if you're ever at the market, pop over to the stand and give them a try, so many great options and the friendliest service gabi goldberg

kid in a candy store! this shop is so cute, the flavour selection is amazing and don't get me started on the mini chocolate shots!

the people were so friendly, decor is beautiful and cozy and they have something to suit every budget.

i loved that they add interesting gelato toppings, and that they're includes in the price. italian hot chocolate with cinnamon and whipped cream was to die for as well.

they have loyalty cards too, which is another major bonus, since i'm probably going to be there every other day from now on.

the staff at the cbd branch are always friendly and their gelato is super good. they always have great flavours and they always change it up so that everytime you go you have different options. we had the white mint chocolate chip , peanut butter, pistachio and chocolate. they are open late so that's a win!

i was so happy to finally find ice cream that i love. all the most recently named best ice cream places have disappointed me. moro though was delicious and creamy and just love the wafer and the runny chocolate on top. the staff are warm and friendly. can't wait to go back!

without a doubt the best gelato i have had the pleasure to eat....wish u guys could open one in johannesburg.gilmore was a superb host and so helpful and patient with our kids...would def come to cape town again just for moro😋

lovely gelato! the pistachio flavor is really good. the interior is beautiful but there isn’t much space on the inside to enjoy your ice cream.

never had before kinda ice cream 🍦 fell in love instantly. wish quantity was little more for the money we spent. if ever plan for a franchise in india, remember me. i am in.

"amazing" is the only way to describe the experience!🙂🙂

1. the decor is amazing! with a very classy and old school look to the golden lids, the look of the place really adds to the experience!😍

2. the menu is amazing! they only have 5 options of each type of ice cream (gelato, sorbet, ice cream) but the options are very diverse and done well, there were no bad flavours!😋😋

3. the prices are very reasonable for what you get, and the ice cream itself comes with a chocolate dipped wafer which i wish they had a whole bag of for sale on it's own!😢😢

by far the creamiest gelato/sorbet/ice cream i've ever had and the flavours are strong but very well balanced!

ps. this is after trying 2 other highly rated ice cream places on the same night😂

nestled in the heart of long street, this little ice cream parlor is a treat for anyone who would have a sweet tooth. such a wide variety of rich flavors and good customers service, the waffle biscuits are the best part haha!
