ted's cafe escondido is far superior. this is a very cheap bargain version. ted's makes tortillas from scratch. the ones here are very tough. i couldn't cut the sopapillas with my fork. the chips here are also very thick, not thin and crispy.

also, miguel is the best server and deserves a great tip!

great restaurant, great service, best fish tacos and fajitas in town! would recommend to all.

great food & great service!. first i want to mention the service. it was the best service i have ever ever had, and i've eaten restaurants all over the world. bar none, it was the best service that can be made possible at a restaurant.

the food is outstanding. i really need not say anymore but i will for those reading. here is what i've eaten...

salsa - is very good, and it has a good kick.
hot salsa - is very good, and made with habaneros - so it is actually hot.
chips - very fresh - good thick hearty chips for dipping, i love them.
tortillas - had flour & corn mix - very fresh

carnitas - well seasoned pork tips with mixed veggies, rice & beans w pico and guac. - delicious!

in my opinion, you can always tell how good the kitchen is at any mexican restaurant, by ordering the chicken fajitas. it may not seem like it but if those can be made right, you're at a good place. so, i ordered them... (i normally like to order beef though)

chicken fajitas for two - this is a special they run, and guess what? they were seasoned well, tender chunks of grilled chicken with mixed veggies. we each got a plate with rice & beans w pico sourcream guac. they were delicious!

i also met the owner while i was there, because he cared enough to come ask me how my meal was going.

best place in town

just tried to go there. the open sign was on and a restaurant full of people and we were told they were closed. i won't come back. if you are closed turn your signs off. closing at 8:30??? i know it is sunday but be for real. hungry and poed!

absolute best service!. my family and i have been going to monterey jack's for about a year now. our two children will pick this, hands down over any other place or type of food. monterey jack's is consistent 100% of the time. we have never received inadequate food or service. the avocado enchiladas are delicious! i truly cannot say enough about the service. the entire staff is attentive and helpful. if someone walks past your table and sees a need, they are immediately back with whatever is needed. we especially like when they have someone playing music. the staff make us feel like family!

best mexican food n best prices eat in or dine out it’s all good love this place. plus they have great music if u dine in.

anti white server. beware of ruben a. my 86 year old mother and i were treated horribly by this racist waiter. he never apologized. unacceptable behavior. made what we thought would be a pleasant dining experience...the worst experience ever.

i was very surprised at how much i fell in love with this place. excellent bang for the buck. great tasting food. decent size portions. good menu selection. i had the fajita beef enchilada with refried beans and mashed potatoes. excellent. i asked for hot salsa and it was mind blowing. go there.

consistently good food and fast service at lunch. they do a really good grilled porkchop smothered in their house sauce. it is always tasty and served with rice, beans, and tortillas.

have tried a number of other items but usually go back to those porkchops.

such a great place to eat with such fast service. if youre in the mood for mexican this is where to go. i love this placeband would reccomend

amazing food, i tell every one of my friends about it because of how great the flavor is. they don't just have the best food though, the service is so amazing! the resturaunt is always full, but they are attentive to each and every table there. i've never been dissappointed by them and will continute to go back every time i'm in the mood for mexican!

best mexican in okc. i drive an hour just to get it. they have the best fast friendly service, and our priced very well for the quality. also they don't charge for tortillas with your chips and salsa. they also have the best queso and salsa hands down.
