the food here is really lovely!! a little over priced for the value :/ the pizzas aren’t the best i’ve ever had but are still really good. it’s such a beautiful atmosphere however, it’s quiet large so when it’s a little quiet you sometimes have to holla at the staff. other than that it’s a beautiful date spot or a sunday arvo chillplacewhere you can walk around the vineyard.

we came here on a day trip to the mornington peninsula and visited montalto winery, stopping at its restaurant for lunch. thisplacedoes a great pizza, we got the pepperoni with ricotta cheese and leaves. it also has a great view of the vineyards!

food is amazing in thisplaceand the setting is quite lovely. staff is friendly and accommodating. we had the wine maker's choice, which came with the most beautiful selection of cured meats, picked vegetables and cheese. and the wine... we loved the pinot noir.

thisplaceis unreal!!! the setting is absolutely amazing and the food and wine are absolutely superb. this is a must visit if you are heading to the mornington peninsula.

a greatplacefor a casual feed on a sunny melbournes day. we were lucky to have great weather. the charcuterie board was delicious, wood fire pizza was on point. potatoes were great but also super filling. all in all a great experience

set in a beautiful area of the mornington peninsula, monalto piazza is a gorgeous restaurant set beside the winery. the service was fantastic and the staff extremely friendly. the outdoor area is a beautifulplaceto enjoy some delicious food and a great wine. would definitely recommend the eggplant entree, taleghio pizza, a glass of the house moscato and rhubarb and rose soda.

thisplaceis beautiful. it was so busy so come early! the pizza is the best i ever had in australia. their pizza base is crispy but not hard. i like their zucchini salad, while lamb shoulder was ok. i think for the foods quality and amount, the price is really reasonable (because i have been to otherplacewhere it charges the same with poorer/less foods). the menu choice is rather small but i reckon they would do really well with all of them! and they have massive land of winery, bushes and forest and field where there are art pieces along the way so spare some time for it! most of staff are friendly.

was pleasantly surprised by the pizza here. had the broccollini pizza which seemed to be the most popular pizza on the menu and wasn't disappointed at all even though i'm usually a lover of meat loaded pizzas. the pinot noir was beautiful and went well with pizza that we ordered. the staff were friendly, helpful and attentive to what we needed. will definitely recommend a visit to thisplaceand their cellar door.

i was not a huge fan of montalto, despite the picturesque scenery. the food service took a long time and in the end was kind of disappointing. the wine tasting was extremely rushed due to theplacebeing overly busy. there are so many other places to explore on the peninsula that i would rather go to before heading back here.

there’s not much that beats spending a relaxing sunny sunday at montalto. while i’ve been to the restaurant a few times, this was my first visit to the piazza and i actually prefer it. it’s a lovely outdoor setting with great service, delicious wine and amazing food - the standouts being the haloumi, smoked trout and wild rice salad, slow roast lamb, and fried cocktail potatoes. add to that the beautiful vineyard and sculpture park, and the infused olive oils (basil is 🤤)...thisplaceis heavenly!

what a beautifulplacefor a late afternoon lunch - views of the winery, a little garden museum of sculpture and a very relaxed ambience. food is quite delicious, although definitely order a salad for that fish. it needs something to cut through the richness. very friendly staff who delivered service that was outstanding.

thisplaceis always good especially if the weather is on your side for us not so much. but we had a great time doing wine tasting and the wine man even gave us a generous glass of their single vineyard vintage 2014 pinot noir which was the best hands down. the pizzas were pretty decent especially the roast pork one. also don't forget to walk through their garden to see all the interesting art.

have been coming here for years. love theplace- wine, food, views all to die for. came this time with my sister and while we had a great time (pizza, salads, chargrilled octopus all delicious) the staff were rude and beyond officious. yes it was a busy sunday afternoon but that doesn't excuse their attitude of disdain. we also overheard the staff discussing a request from a vegetarian customer in a very dismissive manner. we expect more from you guys!!

greatplaceto stop by for lunch if you're on your way to the hot springs.
very serene and peaceful woth great views of the vineyard. service was great and staff were friendly. food came out exceptionally fast (we were starving) and our fav. dish was fish of the day, flounder.
will def. be back for dinner.

can't express how lovely the food are, pizza, lamb, were are great and amazing food. got a great view of winery yard while having your meal out-door at the place. staff were very friendly and helpful. if you looking for a dating place, look no further, this will be theplaceto go to. keep up the food quality. thumbs up
