food was delicious,servicewas great.. i know what you are thinking, "why doesnt he like it then?"

honestly it was the portion size that bothered me on the main dishes. the desserts are huge but the actual meal itself was pretty pathetic. i get the whole you pay for quality not quantity thing in restaurants like this area, i really do. i went in there hungry and left hungrier and for the cost of the meal, i felt like i was robbed a little. i went with some friends and we all got different things and they all looked so tiny. like i could eat all of their meals alone and i am not a big guy.

i would totally recommend this place to people for theserviceand the quality of food but i would also mention that the portions are pretty small and if you are looking for a good filling meal to look else where unless they just want dessert.

always a good time.. i've been to mm a number of times and it never fails to amaze me. i actually go hoping i get to wait for a table and sit at the bar while watching everything unfold, it has such a great atmosphere and such a unique space. i thoroughly enjoy dining at the pass, all the kitchen staff are so diligent and professional it's great dinner entertainment, and they even take time to answer any questions i've had about the food. recently when i was there we had pat as our server, and he was amazing - we asked him to surprise us with our main course and he couldn't have rounded out or meal better, i highly recommend the steak if its still on the menu! the wine is always delish, the oysters are always fresh and theserviceis always outstanding. every time i leave its on a full belly, wishing i had room for more. no doubt this is one of my top picks in the city! everyone needs to experience this place.

at $35 per person for a huge, filling meal on a sunday night.. i have nothing to complain about. the dinnerservicewas well executed and theservicewas prompt and friendly. the menu for sunday supper changes on a weekly basis, but i'm sure you'll love it no matter what is on the menu. be sure to arrive early, or snag a reservation. sunday supper runs each sunday until 10pm - maybe i'll see you there the next time i'm around in calgary!

vg but extremely noisy. 3 of us went to mm for the 1st time and enjoyed theservice& food & wine very much but all i can remember is the noisy music which detracted greatly from our dining experience. we had steelhead trout, the duck (leg not breast unfortunately) and the salty broek pig. we also had the dungeness crab appetizer which was very tasty and a wonderful wine suggested by our amazing server. sadly, i will not return as i didn't enjoy hearing everyone shouting to make themselves heard to their friends at the table which just contributed more noise to the room.

so my wife and i popped on to this busy hip eatery with another couple at around 10pm saturday night. food was fantabulous albeit a little pricey.servicewas attentive but not obtrusive. i loved this place. will be back for sure

i had bad experience last time when i tried. theservicewar so slow. food were plain, no flavor. this time i give it a try again because i like the decor. the food was full of flavor, nice presentation, so tasty. it shows a lot of improvement since last tine i visited. will come back next time.

our favorite restaurant in calgary. we have been to model milk more than a 1/2 dozen times, either the 2 of us or with a large group. every single time, we had very attentiveserviceand the restaurant has been extremely accommodating with food allergies and modifying dishes where they could. if they couldn't be modified - they let us know at the time of ordering and always have come up with great alternatives. sure, they get busy and sometimes the food takes a bit longer - it's not mcdonald's for gosh sakes! the menu is always interesting and the sunday night dinners are fabulous. by the way, why would somebody complain if they got free oysters? if you don't eat oysters, just thank them and say no thanks.

my last review was viewed 12596 times    after a hard time with the road closed go support them, great cocktails, great service, and sunday family dinner is one of the best.

have been for sunday dinner a few times, its a flat rate and the regular menu is not available. pleased to see that they are publishing what the dinner is going to be. greatserviceon any day and fantastic food. you will not be disappointed.

i am a bit surprised at the low rating of this restaurant so i am writing this review to boost the rating.  i rarely give ratings higher than a 4 (go ahead and look through my reviews ;)), but i felt compelled here.  the menu and style is similar to bridgette bar.  the focus is on unique plating, quality ingredients, and an incredibly dynamic menu that changes so fast it will make your head spin; the intention of course to stick to the seasonality of the ingredients. the result is some amazingly creative dishes with beautiful and unique flavor profiles; if you want traditional, go elsewhere. my partner and i always come here for birthdays and special events. theserviceis amazing and we are never disappointed. my only criticism is that it is a little on the pricey side, but only barely considering the quality..

we came to model milk to try some of their regular items on the 2017 summer feast prix fixe menu for $35/person. the food was inventive and tasty, but after having had an amazing meal at pigeonhole (run by the same team) a few nights earlier, we didn't feel blown away by the food andservicein quite the same way at model milk. i recommend giving it a try as their cocktails, shared plates and ambiance are quite fun, but we left feeling a little hungry and hopeful that our next visit will be better.

food was really great. fun options and unique variety. easy to share with a small group andservicewas wonderful. among 3 people we shared 2 small appetizers and one entree and split a bottle of med priced wine we split the bill and i still ended up paying over $85. eighty isn't that much but when you consider the portion you get when it is split 3 ways. i understand this restaurant is higher end in food quality and well recommended, but the prices could come down slightly, just so more people could enjoy it. i would love to return and sure i will in the future. thanks for the great experience.

food, ambiance andservicewas really good. the table situation in the middle was not comfortable along the big beam. you had to listen to the conversations of people on either side of you plus the tables were super tiny. we got the stuffed wings as an appetizer, it was a tiny portion and wasn't as good as others we had before. also the shrimp and grits,  which was really amazing! the flavours were so good. i got the steak and my boyfriend got chicken, both were good. everything food wise is tasty, i'm not sure if it's worth it for the cost . maybe just on a special occasion but i will definitely request a better table next time.

nice atmosphere andserviceinside. the menu is rather small. i ordered the roasted pork and my friend got the burger. the food was average, portions small, and fairly overpriced for the quality of food. the dessert (we ordered mille feuille) was on point though for $12.

my husband and i went for dinner last night and the food andservicewere both amazing. the waitress recommended a few dishes and all were to die for delicious. she knew the menu very throughly which was nice as it was our first time. the food was fresh, very tasty and platted beautifully. we will be back for sure!!!
