there are much better japanese places in brissy. i think they've got an advantage because the location is really good for tenerife and new farm locals at that end of the river. the food you get is just not worth the price you pay. there is no value for money! the venue is tiny and you don't really get a view of anything but the road. i'd much prefer go to sake with an amazing venue and view if i'm paying $16 for a salmon roll. nothing made that roll worth that price, it didn't have a sauce or garnish which elevated the dish or anything out of the ordinary/usual flavours.

have been coming to mizu for years, never have i ever had a bad experience. amazing food for such a good price. always get the bento box or lunch set and can't get enough of it (such big portions).

visited mizu for lunch today and ordered the teriyaki salmon bento, everything was very nice. the miso soup, the sashimi, the teriyaki salmon, the little side dish and rice was super tasty and very enjoyable. good service and also reasonably priced.

mizu at teneriffe is one of my favorite japanese restaurants in brisbane. two of my favorite dishes are the black cod saikyoyaki and the waggu soy butter, cooked perfectly, must try. for dessert their green tea ice-cream is the best, but i'd prefer 2 scoops of ice-cream instead of 3.... service is always good. however, the price can be a little expensive, but i'd say it's worth it.

i've eaten here for lunch bento boxes many times, but went there dinner for the first time. loved it! we tried daily entree specials, kingfish carpaccio and braised pork belly, a small serve of chicken karaage and a main duck dish. it was more than enough food for two people. the kingfish was on par with a dish i ate at sake recently. fresh & delicious and at $11 it was an absolute bargain. the braised pork belly was melt in your mouth tender. i can't wait to try their weekend breakfasts.

with my love for japanse food, i have long wanted to try out mizu at teneriffe. unfortunately for me, being lazy and situated in the south side meant that it took a while before i had the time to trek up and try it out (which actually happened because i overslept brunch time). despite the popularity of the shopping strip, we found it relatively easy to grab street parking nearby.

disappointing. the food was only ok, but the price was quite high for the serving sizes. it would be great if they did bento boxes for dinner.

food was delivered promptly but didn't quite meet the benchmark. sushi rolls were too thick and didn't have the complexity in flavour. agedashi tofu is nice and worth a try.

food was done well and delivered to the table in a timely manner. we ordered salmon sashimi, prawn and mango, kamo kuwayaki (duck), tofu and nasu dengaku, and the azuki banana chocolate. all dishes were absolutely delicious! (although i have had better quality sashimi in other restaurants).

wait staff were friendly and attentive.

overall good experience and would return if i happened to be in the area.

wait staff are very attentive and friendly. although the premises are very small, there is plenty of room to enjoy yourself. the atmosphere is warm and inviting. sitting out the front is great on such a hot night as you get a great breeze and the local traffic isn't too noisy. all of the food is perfection. the wagyu soy butter is my guilty pleasure. i always have to roll myself out and tonight is no exception. wonderful as usual.

have traveled much and found this place to be amazing. a bit of a hole in the wall, but tastefully done inside. fresh sushi, tons of exciting new special sushi rolls. they love mango, mango drizzle, lemon drizzle and crunchy potato mixed into their rolls. ate the volcano roll and the out of control roll w a sexy white tuna appetizer. plum wine was excellent as well, free appetizer at the sushi bar was a wonderful compliment. haven't gotten a free appetizer at a sushi bar in years!

this is a review of a restaurant located in winston salem called mizu. last saturday, july 4th, we decided to give it a try. after being seated, we noticed that their sanitation score was 90. i usually walk out if a restaurant is under 92 especially if i'm going to order sushi, but we decided to stay since not all restaurants were open on the 4th of july. read the rest of the review on my blog, link below.

really high quality japanese food in a nice laid back area. mizupaccio sashimi was particularly delightful. sake is one of my favorite restaurants in brisbane, and whilst this is slightly more traditional compared to the contemporary menu of sake, the food is made to a very high quality and the bill won't empty the hip pocket too badly! highly recommend!
