clean & tasty lunch buffet. while i'm not a fan of buffets in general,mekongcafe's lunch buffet is an exception. although their buffet is small, they serve a nice variety of dishes - soups, noodles, curries, chicken, pork, beef, vegetarian, spicy, sweet, savory - along with the standard appetizers (fried spring/egg rolls, chicken wings and crab rangoon) that seem to be a requirement at most asian restaurants. fortunately, the entree dishes more than make up for the uninspired appetizer fare. the buffet is always impeccably clean and refreshed often.
my colleagues and i have ventured to this lunch buffet many times. granted, there isn't much service needed for a buffet, but both the service and food are always good at lunch. i must say that, unlike the previous reviewer, i've never smelled any kind of fumes from any adjoining businesses - just some jasmine rice, curry and other appetizing aromas you would expect in a thai restaurant. i recommendmekongcafe for lunch and will continue to dine there.
