mei wei bistro

it's a busyplacewe came around lunch time but was seated quickly, there's a glass display around the cashiers area where they also have baked goods. the food comes at a fairly quick pace, and the menu is big. my husband had their hong kong style won ton soup which he liked and i had the three meats on rice ( bbq pork, crispy pork belly and soya sauce chicken) it was a big dish i wish i had ordered veggies because it only came with two flowers of broccoli. it was ok but badly needed some sauce and veggies. servers were good and ambiance was relaxed. i would love to come back and try the other dishes. it was reasonably priced also.

theplacelooks very clean and, in addition to the dining tables, has a small bakery counter where they sell cake slices (e.g., mango and manga). we did not try the cakes but tried their noodles. the chow fun with beer were definitely above average. the shanghai and singapore noodles were average. that said, this is in our opinion one of the best places to get chinese food in south regina.

worstplaceever...we waited 20 mins and no body came to get our order until we call a server and asked. server was very rude and unpolite. asked a question about the menu.he didn't even answer and left.he came back and got our order.after ordering we waited nother 30 mins and no food came.it was the limit. we request to speak with a manager and a server came to us by saying he's the manager. we told him about the situation and he rudely replied to us "so what do u want me to do, we r busy".he did not even apologize for the situation or offer to correct it.when we said we r leaving he was like okk go...do not go to thisplaceif you r looking for good food and service. worst restaurant in regina.

excellent food!!! this is definitely our favouriteplaceto eat when we come to regina. the hot and sour soup is superb and we just tried the spicy pork belly tonight - fabulous!

we dropped into mei wei on a whim and were pleasantly surprised! the staff were friendly and were willing to answer questions if we had any, which we did!
 we ordered 4 dishes, which was plenty, and we had plenty left over! 
 the dishes were lean, where there was meat( bbq'd pork), we had vegetables, which were cooked properly, the noodles were great and the chicken balls were good!
 i will certainly go back and try more dishes!
 the prices are very reasonable and the service was decent! theplaceis not fancy, but, usually has asians eating, which indicates good food!

the food at this restaurant is really good and we have been happy with it each time we have ordered. however after our most recent experience we will not be ordering from them again. after waiting over 2 hours for our food to be delivered we called to see where it was. waiting 2 hours is more than being patient we felt. although they had our correct address it had not been communicated to the delivery driver. we then had to receive 4 phone calls from this driver who continued to drive to the wrongplaceafter being given the address 3 times. when we called regarding a discount or receiving our order free we were offered only 10% off and told they couldn't do any more because the boss wasn't there. is there not always a manager around at a business? when the driver arrived we were on the phone with the restaurant who refused to offer any acceptable compensation. our food arrived cold and two and a half hours late. after we said we wanted half off we were told fine but they would never deliver to our area again. poor way to try and keep business. it's a shame because the good is good!

i placed a pick up order this evening from mei wei bistro and the food was delicious and ready to be picked up within an average timeframe. when i went to the restaurant it looked clean and the staff were helpful however i was only there for a short time. the food was really good with large portion sizes and i would recommend checking thisplaceout!

fresh and delicious!. i had dinner at mei wei bistro on jan. 3rd for the first time and it made a great first impression. had combo d on the menu and when it arrive i was pleasantly surprised by the portions and well as the plating. food was fresh and delicious!

i thought their drink menu was fairly extensive. you can get a variety of cold and hot tea drinks as well as bubble tea. it seems like a greatplaceto have a full meal or have a snack and drink between meals. i was surprised that they had a congee menu. it's a great winter treat.

overall the staff was friendly and the food was great. i will definitely be returning.
