best casual food and entertainment. having been working in nashville, i can't wait to return to go back to mcnamara's! the food is delicious, made with fresh ingredianets, and i would be willing to pay for the the entertainment. it is that good. check it out. you will definately return and it will become your favorite place to eat and have a great evening! kuddos to sean, his family and the great team at mcnamaras!

stopped by for lunch, warmly welcomed by bartender anne, owner sean, waitress brandy and others. fantastic menu, plenty of choice for everyone, the bangers and mash are excellent. if you are in the area make sure to stop by! wish i could of stayed for the live music in the evenings. and yes, they allow englishman in.

the most fun i have ever had in nashville. where else can you go to enjoy some of the best food and atmosphere in nashville? the food was great and all 9 of us shared our delicacies with each other. the irish music was great and included crowd interaction! this is a must see spot, just remember to take a few extra people with you, loose pants (great food!!!) and reserve your seating a couple of weeks in advance.

disappointed. very sad excuse for an irish pub.. but might very well be the best in town. after hearing recommendations by locals, i was anticipating something great- - -greatly disappointed.

ehh.... i really wanted this place to be great... but, ehh.

it is really cute with all the dark wood and soft lighting. it does have all the right things on tap. it does have good music playing in the background. but, the food is just, well, ehh. i ordered the full irish breakfast. i love irish breakfast. it would have probably been just fine if i had never been to the british isles. it would have probably been okay if i had never been to a great irish pub. i have... so it was not okay. the beans (van kamp's) were sweet, the kroger "rasher" (bacon) was not even thick cut. the ham was canned. the sausage was actually pretty good. the white and black pudding were frozen, then microwaved, crunchy, and dried out. the best thing was the over easy eggs with griddle toasted brown bread for sopping up the yolks!

on the other hand, service was fast and friendly. and i guess you can't ask for much more for only $10.

i will keep looking for a great irish breakfast.

damm good!. first time there but will be back for sure! shepard's pie was great, as was the corned beef and cabbage. first time i ever had a scotch egg even got an order to take home for later. daughter had the stuffed tenderloin a little pricy but it tasted wonderful. service was some of the best i have ever had, our server really knew the menu and answered all our questions. left stuffed and with doggie bags for later. a great find for me for sure!

fun. probably the most fun i have had in a long time! great food, atmosphere, drink, and live music. we checked it out for the first time yesterday, cinco de mayo, and we were surprised to find live music. we sat a few feet from the stage - where the owner and friend were playing guitars, fiddles, mandolins, and singing. the show was very interactive and the whole pub was participating. we ordered bangers and mash, fish and chips, beer, whiskey, and bread pudding - all excellent. summary - we had a great time!!

quaint establishment with a solid lunch menu. prices were very good for the high quality food we received. looking for something off the beaten path near nashville; this is for you. fish and chips and salmon with (2)sides were our entrees of choice. both were superb washed down with a cold sweet tea.

pretty awesome place to eat. live music and outstanding food. probably won't eat there again though because this business backed down to their customers and replaced the lamb in their "authentic" shepherd's pie with cow.

this is a fun spot for a very irish night out. they have delicious irish fare - i would recommend their scotch eggs. they also have some very lively musicians and a great vibe. good experience altogether.

first, when you walk in a musty smell envelops you. the table where we sat was dirty and the bench seat had large rips. all this can be overlooked for great food, but that was not the case. we had the corn beef sliders and they were awful. my son had a burger and he didn’t even finish it because it wasn’t any good. the only positive was the kind server. we will not be going back.

this is a nice spot for a fun night out. the music is always great. good beer. good scotch eggs. good homemade irish food that is hardy and filling. reminds me of the pubs i’ve been to in ireland and england.
