mcks tavern. great food and the live entertainment was awesome. staff was friendly and tons of beers to choose from.

i used to think they had the best bacon cheeseburger in town. that was before they obviously got a new chef/cook. now the burger is definitely not the best in town. my wife ordered ribs… she said they were the toughest ribs she ever ate. we used to like this place. now we will not be going back. good luck to you mckays tavern.

excellent variety of draught beer, we especially enjoyed the tiramisu dark which is only available for a limited time. we stopped in just to have a brew but decided to try the appetizers while we were at it. the irish egg rolls are out of this world (corned beef, cabbage and swiss cheese in a deep fried won ton) and the garlic pierogies were great also. the service was outstanding and contributed to a wonderful experience.

we only tried this place because nothing else was close by. we should have just starved because this place sucks. horrible service, incredibly mediocre food.

very good pub/irish type food. shepards pie best around.

best rueben bar none. and i don't even like reuben's.

place to be on a sunday evening. good people, great burgers n fries. easy on the wallet. every sunday my day ends there where the people are great the burgers are excellent/irish egg rolls. would n have recommended it to others

great place for a quick lunch. the cobb salad is one of the better salads you can find in daytona. the staff has come to recognize the wife and i although we only come to lunch once a week. all is good here.

never again. went there today with my family walked in a little before 1:00, didn't get menus or drinks until almost 1:30. one waitress bussed the table behind us yet refused to look at us even though i tried to get her attention. finally got a waitress and two menus were hastily shoved at a table of five people we placed our order of an irish nachos appetizer, two gary's, a leprechaun dip, a blue cheese burger, and a buffalo chicken sandwich. it took another hour for our appetizer to arrive. it was just ok, the sauce served with it was just very odd. our lunch finally arrived. both gary's were over cooked and very dry; the bread on one was actually burnt, the leprechaun dip was also dry and very salty the pasta salad side wasn't very good either. the chicken sandwich and burger were just alright. then to top it all off i got a refill of mr pibb and it tasted musty. when i complained to the waitress about it she was polite but really just shrugged it off with an oh well attitude. never going back again.

great reuben sandwich, good corned beef soup, had to send back the clam chowder, fair fish and chips. the beer tap was broken; oh no, i had to drink bottled beer. loved the ruben, i'll be back.

absolutely great!. irish food! really great irish food! need i say more? okay, i will - guinness! and more other kinds of beer than one can imagine! hey - they even have attentive servers! it gets a touch cozy and a little noisy inside, but i usually leave full and happy. thursday night is build your burger night!

i really miss mc k's tavern. i moved out of daytona and have yet to find anyplace nearly as good as mc k's especially for their corned beef and cabbage dinners. also, their servers worked as a team! any employee walking past our table fulfilled our request asap. the very best irish restaurant and tavern.

great food, slow service. i have never had a bad meal @ mck's tavern. i would eat there more often for lunch if the food were served faster from the kitchen. i work two blocks away.
i have tried almost everything on the menu and have not been disappointed. prices are reasonable, servers are always friendly and attentive.

simply awesome!!. my wife and i frequent this place as we live in the lofts about 20 feet away. the burgers are honestly the best i've had in a long time. always cooked to perfection, delicious and filling. very friendly staff too, they always go the extra mile to explain beers and triple check with you on food or anything you might need. i've tried a few other things on the menu and everything was good, but i now always just go with the same ole thing every time.. mushroom swiss burger!!! it's simply amazing, go try it....

beer selection sucked. not much variety and some beers seemed like they were on tap in the wrong season (or there for so long they had been tapped since winter?). ordered a chicken sandwich and it was tasteless and overpriced. the bar would be more appealing if it conformed to its irish theme (because the food and drink selection definitely do not).
