maxwell's east coast eatery

great food, a little overpriced. weorderedthe fettucini alfredo and the philly cheese steak. both were absolutely delicious but we felt there just wasn't much on the plate in relation to how much we paid ($10 for each). the philly came with a small salad but the alfredo didn't...? to order a house salad is an extra $7. i thought that was odd.

i'm already craving another philly but will most likely pursue cheaper options that are just about as good.

great authentic italian. the food here is very good and the portions are large. we really enjoyed our experience. weorderedthe lasagna, the ravioli, and a meatball on the side. it was all excellent. if you want good, authentic italian food and a great dining experience maxwell's is the place to go.

my parents were in town and had seen this place on tv. they couldn't remember what the featured dishes were, so weordereda pizza and the meatball sandwich. everyone loved their food; we plan to return for more.

cheesesteak. staying at a local hotel.ordereddelivery.orderedthe cheesesteak with mushrooms, peppers and onions. arrived plain with just cheese.orderedthe side salad with no olives. came with olives and no dressing. the taste was fair. tasted like something you'd get from a mall food court. husband had the chicken parm. nothing special. don't recommend this place.

yummy!. three of us came in to maxwell's just after the finish of the usa vs portugal world cup game. the place was busy and full of energy. our hostess seated us and let us know that it was busy due to the game but not to worry, they would take good care of us. will, or server, was fantastic. he was prompt, made sure our glasses were topped off and delivered us a giant pizza just how weorderedit. the pizza was fabulous. delicious crust, flavorful sauce, real cheese and quality pepperoni. the crust is new york style with a great brick oven touch. our server provided us with other great dining options while in town. we are going back to maxwell's one more time....it was that good.

a yummy slice of nyc in slc . wandered into maxwell's to escape the heat in downtown a few days ago and so glad we did! truly new york pizza has come to utah!!!
loved this place so much, we came late in the afternoon and should have tried out their happy hour menu ~ huge slices of pizza at just two bucks... but we opted for the lunch menu and, can i just tell you how wonderful it was? i had the gnocchi and it was mouthwatering! beware my hubbyorderedthe italian stallion pizza and it honestly is at least 20 inches in diameter, but ooooh so yummy. thin curst and gooey good. just like we had in nyc... love this place. flat screens everywhere and tons of sports to view
our server, was also the bartender [not a busy time of day]! he was friendly, we enjoyed chatting with him and his recommendations wee spot on!
when we are in the mood for fantastic pizza here in slc we now know where to go.... hmmmmm, it is kind of upscale, located in the heart of downtown....if only they delivered! [a girl can dream, right?] seriously, you will love it!
