a chocolate desert heaven! we went there for just deserts. tiramisu is a must try . the molten chocolate tasted good but was more like a chocolate cake as the molten chocolate within it was missing. salted caramel was also too good.

aplacedefinitely worth visiting for its deserts!

it's truly what they say 'we just express it in the most evident way- way that everyone imagines chocolate and wishes to experience it'.
it's a perfectplaceto satisfy your chocolate dessert hunger. you'll enjoy each of the dessert without getting disappointed. we loved the chocolate fondue the most (sharing fondue). we ordered it with milk and white chocolate. it was really satisfying.
the ambience takes your chocolate love to a very next level and theplacetruly depicts the chocolate culture.😋

booked our table through open table and our table was ready right as requested despite a bustling saturday night. the smell of cocoa overwhelms you as you pass through the front doors. the inviting scent is then dispersed further in, overtaken by the familiar smell of roasting marshmallows, and savory meals. our waiter was polite but didn't offer much in the way of conversation. i ordered the pancake and waffle fries and they were both really good. the cinnamon sauce was spicy/sweet and it came topped with vidalia onion rings, which were also good.

for dessert (the main reason you come to mb's) i ordered the half size chocolate peanut butter pizza which came topped with half-melted marshmallows. it was otherworldly. the peanut butter sauce was delicious and it kept the marshmallows pretty gooey. there was white and milk chocolate melted on like a sauce and it was covered by a thin layer of crushed toffee.

i definitely recommend thisplacefor a fun night out.

we were seduced by the smell of chocolate. after a night of comedy we wanted dessert. sadly, for aplacespecializing in chocolate, we were disappointed. it was pricey and everything we had was too sweet, didn't taste enough chocolate. do yourself a favor and head to harvard square and la burdicks. that's real chocolate.

when my mother came to visit me in nyc for an epic three day walking and eating binge (well i threw a few museum and sights in the mix too), one of theplacei forced her to try out with me was max brenner: chocolates by the bald man in union square. a few different customers at work had asked if i'd "done" max brenner yet, making it sound like an important foodie adventure i needed to go on. i looked up their menus and saw that there was some good ridiculousness on them, and so i put it on the agenda. we needed to start with something savory, but their food food options are pretty boring (as in, just go to chili's and then come here for dessert, and you'll have the same experience for $2 less). waffle fries dusted with chili & cocoa powder - with dark chocolate ranch dressing - $5.95 that ranch is listed to be served with the black and tan battered vidalia onions rings, but i wanted to try it, so i ordered it for my chocolatey waffle fries. that pinkish color made the chocolate ranch

a disorganized chocolate mess. apart from the desserts, the food is plain and overpriced for the mediocre meal you get. the desserts are very heavy and you when you actually expect to get chocolate as part of most dishes, you are given instead some cocoa powder sprinkled on the side of the plate. most "chocolate" beverages are also deceptively not chocolaty. most importantly, the service is terrible. none of the staff is attentive and the organization of theplaceis an utter mess. i ended up waiting for 20 minutes while they were "getting a table ready" with a reservation ahead of time. instead, 6 staff members were having a conversation amongst themselves and they only seated us after asking several times if there was some sort of problem.
