the chocolate factory. i have been dining in back bay for years and finally got to max brenner. the food and presentation is a lot of fun and the hot chocolate is great. while the food doesn't blow you away, it doesn't disappoint, and the novelty of making your own hot chocolate at the table is why i will be coming back.

i like the chocolate, it’s a good brand all over the world. sadly in boston, the baristas are really disappointed. not polite, chatty all the time, so it took longer to serve. when i left my card on the cc machine, he didnt even tell me. until i realized my self an hour after. poor service 😔

yummy. great food, drinks are a little pricey, but its a great location. sam was our server and he did an excellent job, reguest if you can. oh and all the girls are very cute. way to hire em max

a chocolate desert heaven! we went there for just deserts. tiramisu is a must try . the molten chocolate tasted good but was more like a chocolate cake as the molten chocolate within it was missing. salted caramel was also too good.

ice cream came all melted... and when asked for the manager we are told is busy taking inventory!!!!!!

we are visiting from nashville and had an a maxing dessert on the patio. the chirps are to die for! we liked it so much, we are back for dinner and dessert the very next night. again, amazing! the service is fantastic. ask for the server scott and he will take care of you! i will definitely keep this place on the list for the next boston visit!

sharing fondue (25$) at ‘chocolate by max brenner’, boston is an experience in itself! an array of sweet treats is served with your choice of 2 chocolates. chocolate cheesecake crepe, waffle, milk and white chocolate barks, chocolate sponge cake, strawberries, and marshmallows were served with dark and milk chocolate. roasting marshmallows was a fun experience and the waffles were our favorite! while it’s a perfect way of sampling multiple chocolatey sweet treats, do ensure your group has a sweet tooth as it tends to get too sweet to handle!

well, if you're walking down boylston and wonder what the chocolate smell is, it's this place! a treat for all chocolate lovers- you have everything combined with chocolate, ranging from coffee to ice creams to pizza. so, if you're looking for a dessert place, this for sure will not disappoint you.

it's truly what they say 'we just express it in the most evident way- way that everyone imagines chocolate and wishes to experience it'.
it's a perfect place to satisfy your chocolate dessert hunger. you'll enjoy each of the dessert without getting disappointed. we loved the chocolate fondue the most (sharing fondue). we ordered it with milk and white chocolate. it was really satisfying.
the ambience takes your chocolate love to a very next level and the place truly depicts the chocolate culture.😋

believe it or not, they have an entire menu dedicated to chocolates and desserts. say no more, that line is enough to compel anyone to visit this chocolate lovers paradise. think of a dessert and they ought to have it. be it waffles, crepes, fondues, sundaes, 10 different types of hot chocolates, milk shakes, ice-cream or even a chocolate pizza. it's simply incredible and too good to be true.
on christmas eve, after struggling to find parking for half an hour, i finally made it to this place. boggled by the number of options for desserts, we decided to have the best of all the worlds in one dish " the specialty fondue". warm liquid white and milk chocolate, served with marsh-mellows, a waffle generously topped with cream and strawberries, two chocolate bars and a crepe. they give options to milk, dark and white liquid chocolate for this fondue. this was certainly the most unique and the most delicious fondue i've had. 
it's good for the soul to visit such places, the heart can be worried about later !
the only down-side is that the service can be a tad bit slow during holidays.

max gets his start in israel. he opens a small retail location, eventually growing that to 10 shops. the chocolates are marketed under the belief that chocolate is not just about taste, but it is an emotional product that should be experienced through all five senses.

great place to have chocolate. the food is ok, just american food (burguers, fries and salads), but the desserts are awesome (they are big, so you can share)

what a creative place! chocolate is the focus but there are other substantial food items. we had the brownie sundae for two, chocolate chai tea and a cocktail at the bar! the sundae was giant and delicious. the tea and cocktail hit the spot also! next time we come to boston, this is a must. and i recommend max brenner to everyone looking for a unique culinary experience!

max brenner is a high end brand name in chocolate!! if you are a chocolate or dessert lover - come here! must haves - chocolate cakes, fondue plates, and waffles!! also, they serve great paninis & chicken wings. love them!

if you are a chocolate lover this is the place!!! we had the classical hot dark chocolate which was amazing and a few cocktails, mojitos and jameson whisky!!!

max brenner has a long list of chocolate and sweet preparations, cocktails and burgers, among others.
excellent service, always checking if we needed something else.
it also has a chocolate store!
