kellers little gem!. i guessing that the review written in the star telegram was shortly after the place opened.
i've been 4 times in the last 6 wks and have never been disappointed.
the atmosphere alone is enough to bring you back! personnel are exceptional friendly.
i've yet to make it in for dinner but thebreakfastwas good (we were with a large crowd and ate on the deck) so the waitress had her hands full. nothing exceptional but come on folks, how much can you change up a good ol' breakfast?
lunch is outstanding! i've had the roast beef sandwhich which is to die for! thick sliced boars head roast beef. i thought i was eating slices left over from mom's dinner last night. grilled with harvatti cheese! yum.
all fo the sanwhiches are huge! salads are made with fresh spring greens - not full of iceburg lettuce!

and what a great atmosphere for drinks and munchies with friends on a friday evening. i'm almost hoping this remains a 'best kept secret' for those of us living in keller!

goodbreakfast/ service so-so. i've eaten at manny g's a couple of times over the years. always pretty good, with lots of creative options, though there seems to be a strange confusion about whether it's a locals only bar or a family friendly restaurant.

the food is pretty good, but i always feel a little like an outsider when i'm there. anyhow, finally stopped by forbreakfastafter church and the food was especially good. try the "chimistudie", basically a green chile hamburger potato hash with eggs. everyone else seemed pretty happy with their orders, ranging from omelettes to pancakes.

the waitstaff was clearly overbooked this morning but they made a decent effort to accomodate us and our hungry kids (two families). i also overheard them say they ran out of butter and milk... i hope they figure out that out with their suppliers (or get in the car and run over to the grocery next time!).

as a big plus, the chef loves green chile (as do i)

keep in mind that on sunday they are only open forbreakfast(through noon i believe).

i was a little hesitant about eating here due to all the reviews. well, we took a chance and must say the service was horrible! the owner was very nice but his staff look miserable and act it. our waitress looked like she was hangover and was going to vomit. she must've because she disappeared for quite a while. the other staff members were annoyed not just with her but with customers in general. no smiles, nothing. i paid good money for our meal and will not go back due to the service. manny, i'm assuming this place is your baby. get new staff!! they will run your business into the ground. they have nothing to lose. you do! i would love nothing more to find a regularbreakfaststop. but until you change your staff, i will sadly not be returning.

great breakfast. my wife and i dine here at least once a month for breakfast. i could eat here all the time but i often get strong rebuttals to go elsewhere simply because thebreakfastmenu could be expanded to accommodate a wider variety ofbreakfastoptions, to be specific my wife loves french toast (which, sadly, is not on the menu). the coffee is perfect and we often find ourselves drifting to manny's simply to enjoy the coffee. the waitstaff is good, although we have had some bad service but we've run into that issue at many places as i believe it goes with the business. my only real complaint is that i can never have room to eat the plate sized pancake after eating the rest of my meal... great place for a casualbreakfastto chat over excellent coffee.

great experience!. after living just a couple of blocks away for 3 years, i finally ate at manny g's this morning for breakfast. overall, it was a great experience, and i will return. the place was immaculate, very clean, and a very relaxed atmosphere. the wait staff was prompt and very attentive to the needs and wants of the customers. the food was delivered in a timely manner, hot, and exactly as ordered. i had the mannybreakfastof 2 eggs, grits, sausage, potatoes, biscuit, and a huge flapjack. i don't care for grits, but they were good. i only have 2 negatives. one is there was a strong onion/garlic flavor that was in all the food, including the gravy. the other is there were no hashbrowns on the menu. this is texas, you must offer hashbrowns manny. everything else was to my liking. the biscuit (a big deal breaker for me) was awesome. i will be back!!!

great breakfast. we recently hadbreakfastat manny g's, and enjoyed every bite of it. i have an alergy to wheat and gluten, and asked that mybreakfastto be cooked in a certain way. my omelet was delicious, with no ill effects. my husband had a traditionalbreakfastof eggs, large biscuits with sausage gravey, which was very good. when we get to eat out, we have to choose a place that will fix it my way. next we will try lunch and then dinner. looking forward to having many many great experiences with this restaurant.

your soon to be favorite destination. if you crave gormet food and a creativity, you've found the right place. chef shane will whip up some of the best menu items you can find in all of tarrant county.

if you are craving a new treat, try the armadillo eggs or kickers to start off your morning. granted you better like something a bit on the spicy side because they only use the freshest ingredients and the hottest peppers in town. my favoritebreakfastis still the chimistudi (doubt i spelled it correctly), but you should give it a shot.

if you are into hot salsa's, shane makes everything from scratch including his lasted batch that uses ghost pepper powder (bhut jolokia chili pepper). use it sparingly and have a glass of water near by the first time you dip into it.

i find myself order off the menu more often that what's regularly offered since chef shane offers some great lunch and dinner specials of the day and week.

you won't find a better happy hour in town either. again, this is a great time for the kickers with your favorite frosty beverage or just try some of their home made chips and you see what everyone else is raving about.

if you are looking for a friendly atmosphere to call "home" this is it. i just wish they were open forbreakfastall week long.

lovetodineout. my wife and i have been "saturday breakfast" regulars at manny g's for almost a year. the food is consistently 4-star, especially those plate-sized flapjacks. on our most recent visit we learned that our favorite server would be leaving and we were saddened to hear that news. her charm and laughter added to ourbreakfastatmosphere. we will continue to dine at manny's, but we will certainly miss the retired delta flight attendant who took care of us so well.

seekinggoodfood. we hope that manny g's survives the downswing in the economy. the service needs to find an even keel( a certain server that we love is only there on saturdays and has been absent for a while and we miss her) and the chefs have to work as a team. (sometimes the food comes out slow and we wait on certain items.) the food is very good and the portions worth the price, but we would like to know that our attendance is appreciated. we really want to see this little "gem" in keller succeed. (we are so tired of franchise restaurants.) raise the bar, manny, and show that you can be the best!

just get's better n' better. manny g's is a great place to dine when you are really hungry and not in a hurry (as everything is made from scratch and takes a while to prepare), but that's the point...to come in and relax and enjoy well-cooked food.
would love to see a more steadfast wait staff as there appears to be a lot of turnover in the server department.

great dining...little whining. if you are in the mood for great food cooked to order and you have the time to wait for that great food to be prepared from scratch, manny g's should be your restaurant of choice. (alert: if you are seeking fast food and small portions, do not go to manny g's!) yes, it's still under a year old; there are changes to the menu on a weekly basis( always good changes); a service staff that is slowly coming up-to-par(a bit more teamwork would help in that area), but manny is a hands-on owner who deals with the daily nuances of running an eatery. that ultimate panini sandwich floats my boat everytime.

bestbreakfastin keller!! the mahi mahi is amazing. great service, friendly atmosphere and a cozy bar to have drinks with friends. love, love, love my manny g's!!

manny g's .... not so friendly. my wife and i went there the last 2 sundays.
today i asked to have my toast buttered when told that i cannot i canceled my order and was content just getting coffee,the waitress talked to the cook shawn and said he would do it if we still wanted to order. i said sure. of course he had to butter both sides! when i asked him about really showing me by buttering both sides he was a complete idiot about it. he curtly replied that how he likes his. i was content with getting coffee and he insisted the special order was fine. he ended the whole fiasco by yelling loudly and kicking us out. nice sunday morningbreakfastplace...not for me.

loved it!. i have become a regular at manny g's and have seen this new restaurant go from good to great as the staff has hit its stride.breakfastis always awesome and the lunch and dinner menus are frequently updated with new items. their black bean burger is new and too good for words. cheyne also prepares shrimp perfectly. this guy is the real deal. some folks have complained that their prices are too high, but this is not mass produced chow like at chain restaurants such as cheddars or ihop. this is higher quality from the outset and in my opiinion is great value for the money. as for parking, i was there forbreakfastthis morning and there is new parking , although it is still a bit tight. my only recommendation is that they should get a better sign which is more visible from the street. it is too easy to miss.
