i have to be honest… like this place, but i don’t love it. it’s not a place i necessarily crave, but i don’t mind eating there, mostly because there’s not really anywhere else to eat in our neighborhood and it’sgoodjust not great (but alot of people really love it, don’t get me wrong).

reminds me of the "come as you are but bring cash" spots in richmond that i like. a no nonsense menu with interesting specials and that dayglow fresh oj are sure signs ofgoodfood at a blue-collar price. what more is there to say? the breakfasts we ordered were just great. he got a crabcake benedict which he descriped as "excellent." my typical bacon, eggs, etc was not greasy and everything was hot. the server was prompt with refills and the check. it'sgoodto know that there is a little piece of richmond in the bay area.
