overallgreatplace but i thin it's little overrated to some extent and the food&drink is fine but no the greatest in the state

the atmosphere is great!! very all natural and green! i had the paleo muffin it was amazing!! agreatplace to have a healthy breakfast!

a must try. french press coffee, a variety of food from pastries to cheese and panini, teas and coffees and an outstanding juice bar. i've been to just about ever cafe in baton rouge and this is the best. good vibe for study or working,greatlocation for breakfast before work, relaxing patio. did i mention french press coffee? how about the juice bar. you simply must try this place. i will make this place a weekly routine now.

beat cafe i've had in a long time.... or ever. french press coffee available! can't realty find good french press anywhere unless you do it yourself so this was an awesome place to find. i love the variety of foods and lunch specials and the juice bar is wonderful.greatvibe. love to work or study here, outside on the patio or in the cafe. a must try for a good coffee lover and snack lover.

yum!. when i come into town my cousin always shares a favorite spot with me. as soon as we walked in i had no doubt this would be agreatdining experience.
crusty fresh bread, organic greens, an amazing homemade vegetable relish with my turkey panini. we shared one of the famous inside out carrot cake cookies and my coffee was excellent!

always a winner. i first had them when they catered a friends wedding, and when they opened up their cafe i loved it! the menu is on brown paper bags and when they run out of an item (and they will) its just crossed off. the menu changes all the time, using local and seasonal items.greatgreat food. also, the carrot cake cookies are to die for!

perfect flavor profiles. the freshness and ingredient quality at magpie cannot be beat. there are few places downtown, and especially within walking distance of the capitol, that serves this quality of food. the service is quick and friendly, and i feel i getgreatvalue for what i pay for. sure beats the fast food options readily available downtown. i love the freshness of the salads, the rustic ingredients in the soups, and i cannot wait for spring, to see what magpie might offer.

outstanding staff and food. they went above and beyond to make our gathering of eight for dinner agreatexperience, even on a busy satuday. loved the mussels, mac and cheese, and excellent beers.

reallygreatlittle gem that caters to the vegan and specialty foodie crowd. inventive menu! the brain trust behind this place really has the pulse of responsibility for locality. i love that the menu is written on butcher paper every day, and that the menus are on recycled paper, clipped to cardboard sections of broken down boxes.

these people know what they are doing. they have a vision of being responsible, and it is evident in their practices.
