i'm not sure their coffees are as spectacular as magpie advertises, though i do find it delicious. i really enjoy their large rotation of quiches that normally star cheese, freshvegetables, and a crunchy crust. desserts or sweet breakfast options are an excellent choice if that's what suits your mood. everything is fresh, but items often run out soon after they're put out for purchase. check social media to see daily menus and the associated schedule.

best brunch/eggs benedict. best eggs benny hands down made withfreshlocal ingredients. tasty petso, pine nuts and grilled veggies (asparagus, potato, and artichoke heart) on the side. the biscuit was homemade with flaky goodness. the organic poached egg was cooked to perfection and the sauce was tasty and not overwhelming. finished the whole plate and wanted more deliciousness.

yum!. when i come into town my cousin always shares a favorite spot with me. as soon as we walked in i had no doubt this would be a great dining experience.
crustyfreshbread, organic greens, an amazing homemade vegetable relish with my turkey panini. we shared one of the famous inside out carrot cake cookies and my coffee was excellent!

just ok. unfortunately, too many reviews of too many restaurants are gushing and not very critical. magpie is ok but it is not interesting and certainly not exciting food. my clams were grossly over salted, and that for an acknowledged salt fiend. the salmon was fairly basic. all ingredients werefreshbut i could do more interesting food at home. the wine list is sparse. service - ok, enthusiastic, friendly but a bit amateurish. overall, ok but not worth a dedicated trip - unless you are nearby.

can't complain. i got a mixed reaction from a friend about magpie, so i was a bit nervous trying it for the first time (and a little bummed because i was so excited about it when it opened). i finally went one afternoon for lunch, got a salad with chicken and lemon vinaigrette and a cup of black bean and wild rice soup. the salad was light andfreshand the soup was not the thick black bean soup i expected - it was light and i could taste the rice, beans, and veggies equally. i went back for dinner yesterday and, of course, the menu changed according to what isfreshand in season so i ordered an albacore tuna salad with beans. again, i got something i didn't necessarily expect and i was pleasantly blown away. it was a delicious meal with just a few quality, freshingredients put together beautifully! magpie is not easy on the pocketbook but you do get what you pay for. check it out and sit outside.
