can't complain. i got a mixed reaction from a friend about magpie, so i was a bit nervous trying it for the first time (and a little bummed because i was so excited about it when it opened). i finally went one afternoon for lunch, got a salad with chicken and lemon vinaigrette and a cup of black bean and wild rice soup. the salad was light andfreshand the soup was not the thick black bean soup i expected - it was light and i could taste the rice, beans, and veggies equally. i went back for dinner yesterday and, of course, the menu changed according to what isfreshand in season so i ordered an albacore tuna salad with beans. again, i got something i didn't necessarily expect and i was pleasantly blown away. it was a delicious meal with just a few quality, freshingredients put together beautifully! magpie is not easy on the pocketbook but you do get what you pay for. check it out and sit outside.
