cupcakes were okay. had 2 chocolates and 1 vanilla confetti. need to be a cupcake lover to really appreciate. nice location and inside atmosphere is eclectic and open.

mabel's is the perfect way to end the night. their confetti and key lime cupcakes are incredible. hands down the best cupcake i've ever had. they have a wide variety of dessert options (guava pastry, various cronuts, macaroons) each looked delicious. i loved that they are open late on weekends (til midnight on saturdays) if you're at city market definitely make your way to mabel's!

we had originally stopped by the english pie company but the desserts didn't look great.  we then went to the byrd cookie company but they had already closed (but other stores were still open and the market still had tons of people walking around).  so, we found mabel's cupcake emporium- and we are glad we did!   the girl behind the counter was very friendly and helpful.  the famous mabel and confetti cupcakes were delicious- they were so moist they melted in your mouth and the icing wasn't hard or thick- rather like sweet and airy.  the macaroons were perfect- the only other macaroons that we have had that were better were from boston, ma.  the blueberry croissant was incredible.  go here.

if you like dry cake and just plain sugar for frosting you would really love this place 👎🏽 save your money and go somewhere else or just get a boxed cake.

do not expect to be greeted with a warm, southern greeting.  do not ask questions regarding recommendations because the person will stare at you without uttering a word.  go directly to the savannah candy factory.  there will be something for everyone available.

got 2 of the signature cupcakes (buttercream & vanilla) and they were average at best. cannot figure out the hype. the cake was not very moist & the icing was average too. tried 2 macarons too.....average again. the ones from papilotte are so much better. service was good, though. wanna go back to see if i'm just missing something but don't wanna waste my money.

unremarkable. i visited this cupcake shop once and will never return. i recall a tip jar with some sort of nasty shaming message on it right in front of the register. give me a break. you get a tip for placing my cupcakes in a box and taking my order? terrible service, ironically, for a place aiming for tips.

amazing. the cupcake emporium as the best cupcakes ever! if you live in savannah or are just visiting, you have got to stop in and try the famous mabel cupcake! it was featured in southern living. yum! also, they just started making macaroons. i am not normally a big fan of macaroons because they are usually so dry and crumbly. this is not the case at the cupcake emporium! by far the best macaroons i have ever eaten. i will be going back soon and bringing all my family with me when they come to visit in savannah!

decent cupcakes. a little pricey but some were very good and worth it : snicker doodle, key lime, and chocolate. was not impressed with the red velvet cupcakes.

i came here yesterday. my fiance and i have lived in savannah for about a year and love the small town charm, friendly atmosphere and great restuarants. my first two visits were quite enjoyable. the cupcakes were average but the service was great! my last two visits i was served by the guy who works there. he was impatient, unattentive, even snappy. i thought it was just something with me until i started speaking to other young professionals in the community- most of whom work downtown and have stopped in a some point for a sweet treat an experienced the same with the guy! none of us will be supporting this place again.

get the banana cupcake. the banana cupcake is the best cupcake i've ever eaten. the famous mabel is also raveworthy.

the cupcookies are good, and a concept that i've never seen before.

i didn't care so much for the peanut butter cup cupcake, but it was just not my taste.

this is a must-stop for me every time i travel to savannah.

different strokes for different folks.... was visiting savannah and i try cupcakes anywhere i go, but these were the worst. i had the key lime, almond joy, mabel's (who's old fashion birthday cake???) and red velvet. not really cream cheese, icing too sweet on others, tasted like box cakes; no boxed cakes taste better and dude working was uninformative, very short and just ready to make a sale. didn't notice there were no cupcake dividers so cupcakes ruined when i reached destination. waste to time and $$ but presentation simple and appears appealing but they look way better than they taste.
