best crabs cake. the crab cakes are wonderful and everyone was friendly. this was a wonderful first baltimore dining experience.

family comfort food. luna del sea has been my go-to for every family visit. this place serves the best seafood and offers such a huge menu that it can please everyone's taste! on my latest visit last week, my husband had a filet mignon with crab cake and i had an organic vegetarian pasta dish, both were absolutely delicious. we sat in a separate dining room for dinner it was connected to the restaurant but felt like its own little space with a beautiful baltimore themed wall mural, its own bar and beautiful decor. i would highly recommend luna del sea for dinner for a special evening.

uh oh do these guys like tattoos?. perfect choice.after visiting here on three other trips into the city. from new years elegant bash my first time where i was first hesitant about the price. i went with my gut and tony at luna del sea really pulled out all stops. perfect like i said elegant night with outstanding food. had the crab trio, hands down one of the best larger than a fist cake. perfectly cooked and barely any filler. snow crab legs and somethin else i cant remember. it was most likely the best on the plate cause i attribute the memory loss with my x fiance eating it all. second visit was a 10 person celebration party. id say great anniversary, pre wedding dinner, if you want you family or guests to be able to order absolutely anything on the menu,( if asked right with the quality of chef and amount of true hospitality iv been shown) you an get anything and it will all be absolutely amazing. my last visit was for lunch as im a local tattoo artist and happen to be downtown for the convention. a friend and i were greeted 5 feet before walking out front of the place. not as a cheasy sales pitch to get us in just a "hey how ya guys doin?" of course we were goin there already but walked right in and sat at the bar. got a pitcher of sangria. omg 2-3 people. yeah just go with a pitcher of sangria. on a hot day where you have to do some more walking. its soo refreshing and sweet. they make it a few different ways and all are great. i got the new york strip med rare. dude not even the fat survived. nice grill car but not burnt grill marks. wherever they get their meat its worth it. if you looking for a place to either sit outside and enjoy a salad and tea in the sun or have a drink and steak for lunch. theres a few things i can bet on with choosing luna del sea. absolutely amazing food cooked to perfection, great conversations with the friendly staff and locals and all without having to deal with that drunk guy who just wants a friend or enjoy the company of the people from walmart. absolutely great place. top shelf, top quality, top on my list of places to walk to when downtown in the harbor or at the convention center.

this place is great!. luna del sea was great.
they helped me host a baby shower for my sister in their private room and everything went well. the food was good and well-priced. the service was personable. this is a great venue to work with. look forward to coming back.

doesn't live up to billing. the seafood was unremarkable, particularly given the price point. the shucked clams appetizer was served frozen solid. service was adequate. many other superior restaurants nearby that deliver on their promise. this one did not.

do not come here at all. went for dinner with my bf. first off says upscale casual? its a diner with low lighting. got dressed up for no reason. 2) no prices on the menu. i dont mind paying for quality food but this was sign number 1. 3). got my meal the broiled seafood dinner with the tilapia imperial scallop and shrimp.... was oily and disgusting. took literally 2 bites and gave it back. and they still charged me full price and didnt take it off my check. 4). says best crabcakes in town.... lies. was seasoned horribly and was oily like the rest of the food.

asked for it to be removed manager came.. took 10 dollars off cuz "i ate some" . like what? 2 bites cost 34$ i guess.

i recommend you go somewhere else to eat. trust me. there is cheaper better quality seafood here. my boyfriend and i had 2 dinner plates, shared an appetizer. ..came up to 174. dont go here. save your money.

excellent. i stopped here randomly after the orioles game last night..wonderful find! the service was impeccable and the crab cake was amazing! i will definitely be back!

delicious dinner. certified angus new york strip was great , with the right temperature, the birthday boy enjoyed.

i sat at the bar, service was excellent. drinks were very well made and bartender was very pleasant, black angus cheeseburger was very well prepared and hot, servers were very pleasant. i will be back once a week. great place

on this particularly cool day we elected to sit outside on the side patio, where one is impressively ensconced in a near bubble of peace from the bustling traffic on pratt st., which is intriguing in it's own right as it was rush hour and the local ballers, the orioles , were tearing tickets not one street down for their evening

the food and service are excellent. the prices are very fair for the quality of the food served as well as the generous portions. i am recommending that anyone visiting baltimore stop in and enjoy!

the worst ever. dining alone i looked for a place close to my hotel. seated at a table right by the kitchen and kept getting my chair bumper into my staff with carts (there were other tables). i saw beer and wine on the menu but wanted a cocktail so asked my waitress if they had a full bar. "i don't know, this is my first week". i should have left then. was given no napkin or silverware but a bread "basket" of 1 roll. i ordered raw oysters ($12) and a ribeye steak ($36!). i got the martini i had ordered and it was fine. after quite a while i got 6 small oysters on melting ice cubes with a lemon wedge--no cocktail sauce, no horseradish, etc. she brought cocktail sauce when asked. the ribeye was incredibly small, maybe 1/2 inch thick, and while ordered medium rare came at shoe leather consistency. i ordered another drink since that was the 1 thing ok. the bill was $84!!! the martinis had cost $15! really? to make it up they offered another martini! lol....never again, be warned.
