goodfoodand attentive service. but it always takes a bit for the meal to be served. worth the trip unless you are ina hurry.

mothers day ruined. i don't think we will ever go their again, there were five of us in our party. we were seated at a table for six in the back, the top of the table was very sticky, like the finish was bad or it hadn't been cleaned properly. the waitress took our drink orders and served them promptly and we placed ourfoodorders. then we waited a full hour. the waitress came by and told us that our order would be up shortly several times. after an hour four of our party were served, but myfoodwould be up shortly.the waitress asked if i wanted to talk to the manager, i told her "only if he has myfoodwith him" i really should have registered a complaint. in about 15 minutes myfoodarrived. i had ordered a
flounder and scallop combo. bad choice i received a piece of flounder about the size of a playing card and 5 scallops. not what i had expected for $18.99. although i live quite close, i can't imagine my returning for more abuse.

nasty waitress. happy hour yesterday for three girlfriends after work. we are nice, friendly, professional women. we were very happy to be there, very upbeat! we like happy hours, we usually stay a couple of hours, spend some good $$'s. our waitress was the rudest individual imaginable. she really brought us down! it was a chore for her to take our order and serve us drinks and food. really unacceptable. we work hard for our money, and there are alot of choices in this area - this will be x'd from our list. thefoodwas not great either. why go back when there are so many other choices? what a let down.

oh my goodness what is not to love!! the service was amazing with everyone with a smile and kindness. thefoodwas so very flavorful and perfect portion amount. loved the decor and such a family friendly environment. it is a must to go eat here and will soon be a favorite that you keep going back to visit!! ♥️

always a good experience. this is a nice family seafood restaurant. i've been going to luck oyster a couple time a month for a couple of years now and it's always a positive experience. of course there may be a wait sometimes because they are so popular but you can always get a table in the bar area. i've never had to wait. thefoodis always hot and tasty and the service friendly. one of the best places to eat at the interior of virginia beach.

this restaurant has been a "go-to" restaurant for my family for several years but i had the worst meal i'd had in a long time last night. i ordered the crab cake sandwich with fries. the bun was tough and tasteless; the skimpy crab cake had a number of shells in it; and the fries were not even edible as they were obviously either reheated in the microwave or under the heat lamp too long. when our waiter finally came to check on us after the rest of my party had finished eating, i told him myfoodwas not good. he offered more fries or to bring me something else, with no offer to comp my meal or make it right. needless to say, i don't plan on returning to the lucky oyster any time soon - not after paying for a meal i couldn't even eat!

is the honeymoon over?. this place was great. i used to really like it. but now the wait to get a table is too long. the people in there now are too loud, and thefoodtook too long. i'll be back on a non payday tuesday or wednesday. weekends are not much fun.

good oysters. the oysters on the half were very good and very lucky as chance would have it. check out the menu to see why. we had a good time and the prices are decent.

loved it. we went for both the sunday brunch and for the virginia beach restaurant week (quite a bargain at $10 for a 2 course lunch). service was excellent,foodwas excellent. we will return.

just plain horrible.. this place is nothing but a gimmick with pre-made, reheated food. a total tourist trap, really, and it's not even at the beach. service was extremely slow. it took over an hour to get ourfoodand there were only two of us. when we did finally get ourfoodit was cold. the clam strips were something i could've gotten out of the frozen section of the grocery store - and those would've even been better than what came out on the plate here. management was really lackadaisical about it. offered a free dessert but not to bring out a new order or take it off the check. we declined the dessert because we'd been there so long it wasn't worth waiting for. if you want fresh seafood cooked by real chefs, this is not the place for you.

deliciousfoodand great service! we had a large party and the server was attentive and with it. our party ordered steamed shrimp, portofino pasta, sesame crusted wasabi tuna and kids meals. everything was delicious. even the normally picky kids were happy. i'm still thinking about the tuna days later. great place.

decent douthern style seafood. the decor is great, very artfully done, ut thefoodleaves much to be desired. the menu says i won't have a better crabcake anywhere, but breaded cakes were not tasty. much better ones at the lucky star at town center. and there were bits of shell on the connective tissue of one of my scallops. still, the fish tacos were good and hush puppies just as i remember from childhood. the best part was inarguably the decor, which had been cobbled together from various bits of nautical paraphenelia.
