keeps getting better. i was at loxley's for a graduation party and really enjoyed it. this time i came with just my wife and two close freinds. we were able to get the outside seating with reservations and were seated promptly. what a lovely evening. the service was prompt and freindly, the food hot and artfully prepared/.......tasty too. can't think of a way the evening could have been more enjoyable. our friends couldn't get over the charity program, when the waiter told us how much loxley's has donated, it really put thier mission in perspective. way to go loxley's, you have two more fans!

tried it...loved it!. i was hesitant to try this restaurant because some of the reviews i read sounded like horror stories, but i was invited to join our family for a graduation party so i went. i have to say, all the hype about this beautiful restaurant is certainly deserved! even though they were packed, we were greeted and seated by a freindly hostess in a timely manner. we had a reservation but were late due to traffic and expected to wait, but they were gracious to save our seating for us. our waiter greeted us promptly, and seemed knowledgeable about the many questions being asked. the menu had something for everyone, and was priced fairly according to what you wanted. we asked for seperate checks, per couple, or family, and surprisingly, that was no problem (we were a party of 20).
the rolls we were served were warm, and ok. our beverages were served promptly, as were our appetizers. i thought dinner would take a long time because of how busy they were, but was impressed that it arrived only 15 minutes or so after the appetizers. i had the seafood linguine, with mussels, scallops and shrimp which was as impressive a pasta dish as iv'e had in this area, and very tasty. my wife tried the crabcake, and was raving in between bites. i can't speak for everyone at our table, but the waiter checked back frequently, and everyone was nodding thier heads in approval as far as i could see. my cousins across the table shared a dessert called lava cake which looked awesome, i skipped dessert, as my entree was quite filling. all in all, i'm very glad and relieved. no place i've ever eaten has been perfect every time, but this this time it was. we'll be back for sure!
