from the chili con queso sauce that tastes just like melted velveeta to the bland tamales i was completely unimpressed with the lack of flavor and seasoning. i am not entirely sure how thisplaceis so well reviewed. for the price point there are many options that are better than here. i would actually put a chain restaurant (on the border...jose peppers etc) above this place. would not return. friendly staff and servers are the only reason i would even give 1 star.

my family are so happy to have discovered this restaurant in our area. the food is always wonderful! we choose something new all the time and yet to be dissapointed. steak, chicken, fish or just appetizers the food is always great. we make a point to go every week -it's oneplacewe all agree on!

amazingly fast!!. we heard about thisplacefrom a friend. we drove up on a friday night about 10 after 7:00 and there were a lot of
people standing and sitting in chairs out front, we thought waiting to be seated. we really didn't want to wait a long time for dinner but since we had been wanting to try thisplacefor a while we made our way to the hostess stand and were told it would be a 30 minute wait. we took our light up notifier outdoors to wait. less than 5 minutes later we were being notified our table was ready?!?!? not sure what all of those people thought outside that had apparently been there for a while with large margaritas in hand as we walked past them all and into the restaurant to be seated. we were quickly greeted by a server, we ordered our drinks and 1/2 order of queso. they all arrived rather quickly and we then put our dinner order in. we thought the server was barely gone long enough to even step foot into the kitchen but she was already back with a tray full of food to serve us. now we were suspicious that they were trying to quickly get rid of us??? lol!!! our son had two mammoth al a carte soft beef tacos that he greatly enjoyed. i had the 3 chicken enchilada verde that were good but could have much better if they were hotter. husband had 1 chicken & 2 beef enchiladas which also were not hot, but tasted very good. we will definitely return & give something else a try.

turn up. los molcajetes always get me live try that queso fundido and that salsa tho mmmmmm try to beat my record of 8 bowls of salsa with not including the queso fundido i ate it with. but for real if you want aplaceto eat some good queso fundido this that place, aye bop.

worstplaceever!!!!. i went last night and i was not impressed at all. my food took about 20 minutes after i finished my appetizer to be made and i was not even offered more chips and salsa. the managers got onto the employees in front of the customers in a very rude tone which i found unprofessional. deff not coming back.

great place. love this place! tips has become a weekly trip for us, and always leave satisfied. my personal favorite is the brisket tacos and the xango dessert. you will not be disappointed. this is the oneplacewe always take out of state family to when they visit. the servers are always great, they have a wonderful staff that are all very friendly.

thisplacedoesn't even compare to baja. their regular salsa was not very impressive. the hot salsa was great but they only give you a little cup of it. the margaritas were average at best. my bistec ranchero was good and spicy, but my fiances chicken enchiladas were extremely bland. if you want good mexican in that area go to baja better food and margaritas hands down!

could not believe people gave thisplacesuch a good review. salsa is a runny soup. guacamole looked and tasted like it was from a bag. everything we ate tasted like it had no seasoning. was excited to come here. now i am excited to leave

good food, service and value. we felt compelled to visit los molcajetes after reading all of the online reviews and, while i won't go so far as to say it's my favorite mexican food in the metroplex, the rest of the reviews are pretty much right-on. fresh flavors, original menu items and generous portions. the service is fast and attentive, and theplacewas packed. the word is definitely out on this place. they do a great business. we will definitely be back, but we'll also continue to explore others of the many mexican and tex-mex restaurants in the area.

really good mexican food............ if you're looking for tex-mex, this is not the place. this is just really good mexican food. we went for luch at 11:15 am on a monday and theplacewas already beginning to get crowded. great chips and sauces (regular, spicy, and verde) and large portion on the enchilada lunch specials. everything positive here!

i'm from kansas, and we were looking for for a greatplaceto eat. read the reviews thought we'd give it a shot. everyone was right!! sooooo good. and the briskitt tacos were amazing!! if i'm ever back here i'm making someone come with me!!

fajita enchiladas, queso fundido!. thisplaceis my favorite in fort worth! really good chips and salsa and usually great service!

best in metroplex. i lived in san diego for 5 years and anyone who has been there knows their mexican food is better than mexico's and los molcajetes is by far the best mexican food in the metroplex. their specialty is enchiladas but everything on the menu is good. i have been to all of the so-called best resturants in the area (not just mexican) and esperanza's is the onlyplacethat holds a candle to it.
