the best mexican food around!!. seriously--go during happy hour! you will leave even happier! :d the margaritas are huge and amazing and save room for sopapillas! they are not traditional with honey, they are soooo much better. i've lived in the dfw area for 22 years and this is by far my favorite mexican food place.loveit!

average. the chips and salsa are pretty good however their entree's are average. ilovetheir sopapillas. friendly wait staff, great service however i've had better mexican food in california.

great place.lovethis place! tips has become a weekly trip for us, and always leave satisfied. my personal favorite is the brisket tacos and the xango dessert. you will not be disappointed. this is the one place we always take out of state family to when they visit. the servers are always great, they have a wonderful staff that are all very friendly.

used to be good...emphasis on 'used to be'. we used tolovethis place; everything tasted good, it was always fresh and hot. we went recently, and received our order suspiciously fast; by this i mean we had our food before our drinks. the meat for the fajitas was cool, and tough; the tortillas were rubbery. my chicken enchiladas were cold in the middle, and cool enough in other places that the cheese sprinkled on top did not even melt. the rice was very dry, and almost hard (think airline food). the chicken tortilla soup was lacking both the cheese, and the avocado. there has been a gradual step down in quality each time we have been recently, and this will be our last visit.

great mexican food. i eat at los molcajetes just about every weekend. the food is always good and sometimes great. the chilled red and green salsa's are very good and very consistant over the years. recently they added a warm/hot roasted salsa which is starting to grow on me. the charro beans are second to none unless they get a little to salty at times. ilovejust about every item on the menu with the exception of the chile rellenos which appear to be cooked in advance because they are deflated and soggy, not a good thing for this type of dish. my one and only complaint is that the food comes out way too fast almost like it was prepared earlier in the day... which it obviously is but works for us. the chicken mole is very good but later in the evening the sauce gets a little too thick. all of the portions are very generous.

i wanted to go over the chips and salsa's again.... very very good, and that is very very important because that is always half the meal in a mexican restaurant.

after reading the reviews on here, my wife and i decided try this place. i'm glad we did! they had me hooked with the salsa. if you like a little extra cilantro in your salsa, you'lllovetheirs! junior was great, though a little green, but he walked us through the menu when we told him it was our first time. the food was great, though i was a little disappointed to have to remove the tails off of my grilled shrimp. but seriously, that's not even a complaint nor will it stop me from ordering it again. 5 stars and 2 thumbs up!

great food - great ritas!. your 1st time should include the los molcajetes especial. chicken/beef fajitas, grilled shrimp, and grilled quail. it comes with charro beans and rice. a lot of great food.

their salsa rojo is fresh and very good. the salsa verde is quite often like getting bitch-slapped (iloveit!).

if you drink (bless you), order 1 frozen herradura margarita. you'll only need one.

my favorite mexican food place. ilovetheir salsa (very cilantro-y) and ilovetheir queso. i get the shrimp quesadillas, (which are stuffed with baby shrimps) or the cameron's mexicana which are jumbo shrimp with a chunky stewed ranchero sauce and jalapenos. the swirl margarita's will also throw you on your bum, they are pretty good.
