too much praise = impossible. this place is exquisite. it isn't white table cloths and fine china, but the food is excellent, definitely the best mexican i've had in columbus.

my understanding is that this restaurant is the store-front expansion of a columbus taco truck. if so, their transition to brick & mortar restaurant was well-done. this place is small and tucked away in a small strip mall 120 yards off bethel road. the restaurant is small with limited seating and a fully visible kitchen.

you order from a counter, and they bring the food to your table. the service is exceedingly friendly. food didn't take long to arrive, but didn't turn around so fast that you're suspicious that it's pre-made or fresh from the microwave.

the food is in a word - awesome. i got thetacosgauchos (if a place puts their name on a menu item, i make a point to order it) and a taco al pastor (they say they have the best in town, so i needed to try). both were excellent.

thetacosguachos was grilled steak, fajitas vegetables, cheese, and covered in bacon. it came with a side of tortillas. they bring limes and pickled habaneros to the table, along with several kinds of salsa which really spices things up and elevated my meal.

and the taco al pastor was dynamite. it was a mix of tender and juicy and crispy and came with a slice of fresh pineapple on top which i was not excited about conceptually but was utterly delicious and a very nice complement to the meat.

this place is also affordable, and a good value. i can't recommend it highly enough.

taco truck dinner. we ventured out for a taco truck dinner and decided to try los guachos taqueria on commerce drive - incredible! we had 3tacosal pastor, a quesadilla al pastor and a gringas al pastor an each was unbelievable. the pork tenderloin was moist and full of flavor, hand-carved off a large rotating spit with a huge pineapple basting it all on top. fresh, delicious, and inexpensive. friendly people serving fantastic food.

los guachos is reliably good.. this little place is a favorite "go-to" taco shop. the staff is always friendly and low key. the menu is simple. i order two things that are best in class citywide: thetacosal pastor, and the fish tacos. the al pastor is authentic fire roasted and hand turned. the fishtacosfeature a generous piece of crispy fish with their own sauce and shredded lettuce, with a squeeze of fresh lime and a little tabletop verde salsa, two is a perfect meal.

this place is the place to go for tacos!! we went here on a recommendation from a friend, and loved it. we started off with chips, salsa, and guac. chips were fine, fresh, salt, just like you would want, but let's be honest, i wouldn't waste my time again on them, because the start of the meal was so good.

i ordered a taco el pastor, a chorizo taco and the gringa. on the el pastor taco the combo of the pork and the sweetness of the pineapple was absolutely perfect. speaking of perfectness... the chorizo taco brought it's a game as well. the gringa was very good( it's the same as the el pastor, except it's a flour tortilla and has melted cheese). i would order all three again and just skip the chips. the best thing about this place or the prices. 1.50 fortacosis awesome. they also have a special buy one get one on mondays. 20/10, will definitely be going back

the atmosphere was good for an old strip mall location. the crowd was very diverse and many people loved the food. for me, the hype outperformed the product.tacoswere average.

awesome fish tacos. recently stopped in at los guachos for the first time after hearing about the amazing al pastor gringas, and overall they did not disappoint! it's a very casual place when you walk in where you order at the counter and find a seat if you can. thetacosare fairly cheap, and they come out ridiculously fast which is great! i ordered a tripe taco, fish taco, and an al pastor gringa. the tripe taco was pretty mediocre- very dry and average flavor, but the gringa was good. the pastor was tender, flavorful, and delicious and could be eaten on its own and thoroughly enjoyed! my gringa came with very little cheese and one very small slice of pineapple, so it's a good thing the meat was flavorful or i would have been disappointed. the star of the show was actually the fish taco! it was very large for $2 compared to the $1.50 taco i got and it had perfectly fried fish, a little slaw, and a perfect mildly spicy sauce to finish it off. overall i will definitely come back to los guachos for the fish tacos, pastor meat, and fairly cheap prices.

i don't eat pork, so i can't comment on los guachos' famoustacosal pastor, but i can comment on the fish tacos. they were, as my review title indicates, delicious and inexpensive. you just can't beat $2 for a fish taco. it was a little on the spicy side, but not so spicy i couldn't handle it. what a great place to go after having some drinks at a bar on bethel or sawmill.

simply the best place to get truly (and i hate using this phrase... lol) authentic mexican street foodtacosin a brick and mortar setting. the al pastor is marvelous and deserves all the accolades in the other reviews. i also highly recommend the brisket, especially the brisket quesadilla. the bowls of habanero and onion mix, the lime wedges and the bowls of pickled jalapenos with cauliflower and carrots (you may have to to request this one) they bring to the table are above and beyond any other mexican establishment in central ohio. check out their two for onetacosal pastor on mondays after 4 pm.
